IS IT IMPERATIVE FOR JONATHAN TO
RECEIVE SPECIAL EDUCATION?
In my opinion, Jonathan should not be pulled out of the Regular
classroom for special educaiton services! Because Jonathan is 17
years old and his disabilities are minimal, I feel that his needs could
be better met in Regular Education.
Some simple modification for the Regular Ed. teacher include:
- When writing on the board, give Jonathan a copy of what you�re
writing to keep at his desk.
- ALWAYS provide an example that Jonathan can look at, and touch -
DON�T expect him to visualize what you�re talking about.
- Let him type his English assignments on the computer. Teach him
to use the �spell check� and the �grammar check�. Show him how
the computer will identify improper use of capital letters, etc...
