The Reed School PTA sponsers various events in collaboration with the school library to interest students in reading. Families are welcome to participate in all of the events.
Holiday Book Fair - Dec. 15, 16, 17 - new children's books, fiction, non-fiction, various reading levels
Storybook Day - Jan. 14 - School wide assembly which highlights all the children dressed to represent a favorite character from literature.
Author Day - Jan. 20 - A children's author visits Reed School giving three separate presentations, one for each grade level. This is a great opportunity to bring books to life by showing the person behind the book.
Used Book Fair - April 5, 6, 7 -Recycle and Reuse children's books. Clean out your closets and bring those outgrown books to the used book fair. Come home with books new to you, bargains galore.
