What I do in my spare time

I spend a lot of my spare time on the Ffestiniog Railway, a preserved narrow gauge railway run mostly by volunteers. I have loads of friends there, and I always have fun. See the aforementioned Mostly Steaming web site for more information on this.

Apart from that...

There are a lot of other things I do in my spare time as well. My interests are fairly diverse. I enjoy writing (mostly short stories, and the odd attempted novel). I also enjoy reading, mostly science fiction and fantasy, but some teenage fiction (the good stuff!) and other things too. I am a very big Star Trek fan. I do a lot of my own artwork, and I love singing and listening to music.

And my love life...

I am engaged to the most wonderful man! We met on the railway the first time I was there (October '95), and we were friends for some time before we realised we had strong feelings for each other! We started going out in June '98, and we're getting married in August 2000. I can't wait!
