 One
of Mengele's ways to kill quickly was to inject chloroform into the hearts
of many of the prisoners. He sometimes killed this way in order to
get the subjects body parts such as eyes, and brain matter. He had
a friend at the Berlin Institute and he sent these parts there to be examined
and then the results of these examinations were sent back to Dr. Mengele.
Dr.
Mengele would sew twins together in order to try to make them Siamese.
Dr.
Mengele also would inject other things such as phenol and other liquids
just to see how long the patients would live and if they could stand the
pain.
When
a cabin of women were said to have lice Mengle sent all 250 to the gas
chambers.
If
someone had a blotch on their skin he would kill them because he thought
they were not pure.
Mengele
was responsible for doing experimentation on 1500 sets of twins he used
these twin for dissection and for gruesome killing. Of the 3000 twins
that entered Mengele's lab 200 survived. He also did experiments
on others with physical abnormalities such as hunchbacks, dwarfs, and midgets.
He did this because of the fact he wanted to know why they were this way
and to him it was wrong the way they were.
Here
is a personal account of one of the doctors that helped Mengele in one
of his experiments. In his account he says Mengele started with a
long cut across the bottom of the jaw, he reached up and pulled out the
tongue then he reached down farther and pulled out the esophagus and with
it came the lungs he the cut a large slit in the top of the head and started
pulling out brain matter. The most terrifying thing about this is
the patient was still alive and not put asleep before this was all done.
This is the way Mengele operated he never put anyone to sleep he just started
in without worrying about it. |
