Goin to school at UCi was da bombest year of mah life. Even though I got kicked out, I probably learned more about myself in that one year than I did throughout mah 18 years of living. After being on check by my parents most of my high school life, I finally had the chance to do what I wanted, when I wanted. Of course that wasn't my plan from the beginning. I mean yeah, I'd wanna have fun n shit....but I just wanted to finish school as quickly as possible. I met a lot of people my freshman year. Most of the homies I met are still very close to me. At first I was kinda an outcast. Nobody seemed to talk to me. But then again, i didn't really talk to anyone either. I guess cuz I didn't look like the approachable type. And the peeps that I graduated high school with, I couldn't find them until about 2weeks after the first day of moving in. Man, I jus wanted to go home. Weird huh. The peeps at mah dorm were coo, but not really the kind I'd kick it with. I guess cuz I was used to kickin it with flips. And there were only 2 or 3 Filipinos in my dorm. I sed fuck it. If peeps don't wanna talk to meeh, I'll talk to em. I met a couple peeps shootin pool at the little arcade at the dorms and finally one day, I found some homies that I graduated with. I chilled with them the whole year and through them, I met a grip more people from their dorm, Bahia. I guess I even had to goto my ghetto Carson roots...There was a rival dorm that hated Bahia. This rival was so bad, It went to the point where there was gonna be a rumble during finals week, but nothing happened. I mean there where at least 200 people involved.
Throughout the year, Instead of sleeping early to goto class, there were beer runs, late night talks, AOL, and smokin. Instead of studyin finals or mid-terms, there were the trips to Morongo Casino and Vegas. Unfortunately, I was the only one who really felt the effects of not setting up priorities and eventually I got kicked out after 3rd quarter. I guess I really wasn't prepared for this "livin on mah own" shit.
