PLAYAZ UNIT

What is Playaz Unit? Well, back in my junior high days , 1991-1994, everybody had to be "from somewhere". If you didn't have a name for your group, you just weren't cool or something. The ladies had a name, the doggs had a name, or course the Gz had a name, and the party crews had a name. That's when Pu-Tang came about. If yall are filipino, you know what that means and maybe if you aint you probably know what that means. But for those of you who don't know you bettah ask somebody.

Although just a kick-back party crew, because we had a name, we also had trouble. The P-U in Pu was subdivided into Playaz Unit. And the Tang was interpretted by many as Taking And Not Giving or Taking Ather Ni**az Girls. There were even the Pu-Nannies. The all girls side of Pu-Tang. Because of our name and the rep that some people brought us, we were hated. However, we never went to the point to start bangin, cuz that's just how we were. I mean once we started up the bangin scene, we knew it was gonna be over. Don't get me wrong, we weren't a bunch of pussies or nothin, but it just wasn't our style.

Like I repeated many times, I was on check by my parents. Therefore, I didn't chill as much with them. Goin to party's, playin ball, typical junior highish shit. But although I wasn't able to kick it, those guys and ladies were still there for me, even until today. Some of them at least. Many moved on to college, work, the armed forces, etc. getting on w/ their lives.
