NCAA Wrestling Championships

Held at the University of Missouri in St.Louis, on March 16-18.  Lehigh came in ranked 11th nationally, sending seven of ten wrestlers to the Championships, including highly regarded junior Dave Esposito, from New Jersey.

Lehigh put the finishing touches on a record-setting season by posting four All-Americans.  Lehigh came into the tournament ranked 11th in the nation, and finished the season ranked 7th.  Its Lehigh's first Top Ten finish since 1984.  Lehigh Wrestlers finished the season with a school record 19 wins.  Only four seniors leave, but Jon Trenge (ranked #2 nationally in high school), Bill Brine (Honorable Mention nationally), Nate Cote (#8 nationally) all redshirted this year, and will be in the varsity lineup.  Sophomore HWT Sean Laughlin returns, as well as most of the lineup.
