BUSHDANCE Heel and Toe, Heel and Toe, slide 2, 3, 4. Whilst this phrase was very true of the night we did more than just bush-dancing. Which is good because I don't think anyone would have lasted the whole night as most people were quite exhausted after the first dance of the Heel and Toe Polka.
In between all the dancing and eating there were some testimonies by Gina and Sarah N as well as an evangelistic talk given by Nick. All these shared the message of Christ to our guests, some of whom had heard it before and some who hadn't. There was also plenty of time for talking to people after the talks.

We assisted in the classes by walking through exercises with individuals. Through social activities such as sharing needs and an excursion to Olympic Park, we built friendships and found opportunities to discuss our relationship with God. One Chinese women called Suki made a commitment to the LORD.
The ESL program has given us a great example of how Christians can address both personal needs and the ultimate spiritual need of recent migrants to Australia.

COMMUNITY LIVING Soy milk, frozen yoghurt, chilli sauce, tim tams, steamed vegies... Living in community during the project is an awesome opportunity to share one another's lives, habits, and cooking techniques. I really enjoyed this part of project. We all have diverse personalities through which much laughter was produced.
Making new friendships is rewarding and challenging at times too!
