Part II
Written By Trung Hoang

Down, went I.
Plummeting down towards the deep receses
Of the bottomless pit.
Ripping my body as I fell deeper and deeper
Against the sharp jagged rock walls.
How could this all have been done to me?
How could I have sat and painfully watch
As she, acting like a bearing, rolled back and forth.
Though she spoke love, all that was seen was him.
Rolling.... Rolling... from him to me... Rolling...
And deeper..deeper, fell I.
The strong willed person I once knew was here no more.
Only one who was weak was shown to the world.
But.. blind I was. Not seeing... Not realizing..
Woe was I when the point of exhastion was reached.
Then.. into the hole.. hands descended.
With a firm grip, I was slowly being pulled away..
Away from the dark hole of despair.
As I glanced up from below, I could see the ray of light.
Slowly, but steadily.. i ascended into the world.
From above.. I saw paradise.
The canopy of trees smiled back at me as birds circled them.
The plains of grass from the valley below.. deep, rich, and fullfilling.
The smell of sweet pine filled my nostrils as I notice my surroundings.
The horizon stretched on, seeming to have no end against the blue sky.
How beautiful it all was... every intricate detail could be viewed,
Carefully, and admired, for the work of nature is perfect.
Paradise. I am exempt from harm here.
Never will the claws of hurt have a hold on me again.
I stand tall. Looking beyond the horizon into the deep orange sky.
A confident smile crosses my face, as I involve myself in deep thought.
All the hands whom aided me will never be forgotten.
Forever will they be there for me when the time is needed.
Tomarrow is yet another day.
Feelings are nothing more than you portray them to be.
Every begining comes after another begining's end.
