Markets: Does Size Matter?
My opinion: No.

We don't ever want to sit around and feel sorry for ourselves that we can't compete with the big boys. We just do what we can do. There's no use complaining. We've got to keep working hard and getting better. Would I rather have $105 million to spend on Kevin Brown to pitch every fifth day? Sure. Who wouldn't? But why sit around and complain about something you don't have? What does that accomplish?

We continue to hear that we're a small-market club. Screw that. We're not a small-market club. I remember in '91 when we came in here to Atlanta the first time, they had 11,000 fans in the stands and it was a small-market team. The next time in, they had a sellout, and it was a big-market team. You're only a small-market team when you lose.
