Cheang Kum Seng's Picture Gallery

Hello… I’m KSCheang, a self-taught & a keen nature photographer specializing in Nature Photo Journalism. Started photography way back  during my school days & that was almost forty years ago! It was only when I started to join Maybank Bhd. that I really got myself ‘nose deep’ in photography as a hobby. My job as a banker was too sedentary & dull, always looking at $s & millions of figures! Once I am on nature photo assignment I almost forgot who I am, & the next day to my work, I am as fit as a fiddle!
My initial photo equipment was a standard set of 35mm SLR camera & a fixed 50mm lens. And at present with all my equipments, I am able to shoot quite a variety of subjects, ranging from micros to scenery and the birds too!
The following pictures are from one of my many collections, which I photograph during my three branch trips with MNS Perak to Fraser’s Hill. I am a beginner birder, & I find it is easier to ID the avian beauties through photographing them. When photos are well documented in sequences, the picture will always review some extra features of that particular species for easy identification; or scenery that carries the viewer off his feet! With this small presentation I hope to share with you my joy of photography!. Hope you too will join us the next trip!
