I live near the greatest Italian lake (Garda Lake) in a small town called PACENGO. The Garda Lake is just below Alps. I have always been living here and it is a beautiful place. If you are planning a visit to Italy, take a look to Italian banknotes!

Astronomy

Well, 1997 was a special year for Astronomy:  Comet Hale-Bopp was a great show and the  Mars Pathfinder has landed on Mars. Anyway, Astronomy is a great hobby even if there are no special events. I like to spend some of my nights at the little Novezza Astronomical Observatory (above). In the last image you can see (not very well!!!) 3 great WBS chatters: from left to right RICKY65 (my best friend), Deep Throat (my brother) and Comet Gazer (me!)

Here you can see the weather in Europe. This image from Meteosat is updated every 30 minutes.

I have hundreds of meteo-links ... the best for Italy is  Meteo Italia.

Left image is my first discovery of Himantoglossum adriaticum. I am a member of G.I.R.O.S. and I have thousands of photos of wild Orchids in my territory.
