This room is the very first part of the cavern that any man had seen. Back when the construction of the highway was underway, the cave was hit with several core holes. The core holes were being drilled to test the integrity of the ground to see if it could hold the overpass. After loosing drill bits, the highway department drilled a 24 inch core hole to this room and lowered one of the construction workers down. After the find, several universities were called and a team of geologist came to survey the cave.
