Germination
|
Growing cacti from seed is easy; that is, it's easy if you follow several
simple rules.
-
Keep the seeds at a constant temperature of 70 degrees. If the temperature
fluctuates often plants will not germinate. If there is no place
in the house that has a constant temperature try the top of the refrigerator.
-
Don't over water. It is important to keep the soil moist for the
seeds to germinate; however, many people over water. In order to
be sure that you don't over water, try putting pot you are growing the
seeds in, in a cool whip container lid and fill the lid with water.
