DATA:
Brinson Mrs. Lula Florence, daughter of Willis and Ellen Whitham, was born Jan. 21, 1880 and died at her home at Hicks, Ind. April 12, 1948. Burial was at Benham, Ind. She married Ora Brinson Oct. 9, 1898, who died May 5, 1946. They had seven children. A daughter Mrs. Ruby Irene Wolf died at the home of her parents Feb. 28, 1929 leaving an infant daughter Audrey in her mother's care. An infant son Elbert and a three-year-old daughter Marjorie preceded their mother in death. Lula left the following children: Mrs. Doras Spencer, Mrs. Aldean Herring, Wilbur Brinson, and Mrs. Lola Blighton, who cared for her parents through their long illnesses, 13 living grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. One grandson Alton Spencer gave hislife in World War II and another grandson Elmo Boyce was in service when she died.
