Interview with Ian Stenlake alias Oscar Stone (from TV Week):


Here's a bit more info on Ian:
He was born in Barcaldine, grew up in Dalby, Mackay, then Brisbane. When he completed his year 12 in '86 at BBC he wasn't happy with his TE score and so he went about getting a job.
In '89 he went back to high school and got a better TE score. Then he went on to study Commerce Law at UQ.He paid his way by working as an assistant nurse at the Holy Spirit, he wasinterested, at the time, in becoming a doctor.He put uni on hold for nine months to travel OS, and while in Rome he scoreda part as an extra in the Godfather III.
After that he moved to Sydney to study at NIDA. His first TV role was in a drama called Children's Hospital, on the ABC. He also spent two years with the Grin and TonicTheatre Company in Brisbane and sang with the Queensland Youth Choir.
