All Saints is an unusual hospital drama. Since it's debut on Australian TV on February 24 1998 it has rated very well. All Saints is partly filmed on location at the Concorde Hospital in Sydney's inner West.
Medical adviser Laura MacFarlane works very closely on the set with the director, actors and the art department to make the medical contant of the show as realistic as possible.
Most situations in the show are taken from real life, so they are fairly realistic. There is a lot of medical research done for every storyline.
One of the main characters, Dr. Peter Morrison (played by Andrew McKaige) has been written out of the show. This character had a relationship with another main character, Sr.Terri Sullivan (Georgie Parker), but this didn't lead to a real on-screen romance, as Sister Terri is a nun ! (The public/viewers put a halt to it !)
Dr.Peter Morrison is shot in the head and left partially paralysed. This is how he leaves the show.
