STREET HAWK

Street Hawk is the prototype for an all-terrain assault vehicle. It has been rated as capable of over 100mph, yet able to reach as fast as 300mph in hyperthrust.

It was designed by federal agent Norman Tuttle who has a dream that there will someday be a Street Hawk in every police garage. The choice of test pilot was, however, not his. Jesse originally irritated him with his "lack of regard for his equipment." This has enabled Jesse, though, to become a top crimefighter while riding the bike becoming known as Street Hawk himself.

Street Hawk’s console enables easy access to several functions. Mounted on the handlebars are controls to operate the bike’s weaponry, including the missiles, laser and machine gun.

Amongst the bike’s weapons is a particle laser hidden inside the nose. It is useful for cutting through metal or disabling vehicles.

Other weapons include a machine gun and missiles which emerge from areas beside the nose. There is also an additional device mounted on the side that fires small rubber slugs.

The helmet that Jesse wears is much a part of the bike as anything else. It features a speedometer display on the actual visor as well as the zoom capability. It also transmits a video feed back to command center where Norman can monitor Jesse’s activities.

The Command Centre is where Norman operates from. It is the nerve centre of the whole Street Hawk operations. The monitors convey images transmitted from the helmet as well as the status of the bike.

The most prominent feature of the centre is the giant computerised map of LA. It displays a light showing the current location of Street Hawk. Norman can also operate hyperthrust from the console, the idea being that at speeds over 150mph the human mind cannot react to course changes and obstacles in time.

In addition to Street Hawk operations, Norman can also conduct computer record searches or review mission tapes recorded by the helmet.
