The Megarangers

The rangers were supposed to be selected by an arcade game originally, but an attack on INET hq forced the big cheese to choose the game's highest-scoring player plus his four friends to defend them. The rangers fought Dr Hinelar's bunch from March 1997 to February 1998.

Date Kenta/MegaRed

Kenta is the exception of the team, as he does not like computers. He lacks certain leadership skills but despite this, he is the Megaranger leader. His forehead symbol is the PC. He is armed with the Drill sabre and pilots the robotic Mega V1.

Endou Kouichirou/MegaBlack

As opposed to Kenta, possesses leadership skills, which makes him the unofficial leader of the Megarangers. He is a keen football player and is concerned about his school work. His forehead symbol is the communications satellite. He is armed with the Mega Rod and pilots the shuttle-like Mega V2.

Namiki Shun/MegaBlue

Shun is the loner of the group but has made good friends with Kenta. His dream is to one day become a manga artist. His forehead symbol is the digital television. He is armed with the Mega Tomahawk and pilots the rocket known as Mega V3.

Juogasaki Chisato/MegaYellow

Chisato is the more serious of the girls. Her ambition is to become a photographer and loves taking photos. Her symbol, unsurprisingly, is the Digital Camera. She is armed with the Mega Sling and pilots the saucer-like Mega V4.

Imamaru Miku/MegaPink

Miku eats a lot, but is self-conscious about her weight (like the PinkRacer from Carranger?). Her forehead symbol is the cellular phone. She is armed wih the Mega Capture and pilots the tank-like Mega V5.

Yusaku Hakawa/MegaSilver

is the latest member of the team. Initially, the MegaSilver suit is only active for 2 and a half minutes (as a result of it being a prototype for the others' suits) but eventually this problem is ironed out. His forehead symbol is the IC chip. He is armed with the Silver Blazer and pilots the Mega Winger.
