FYI:She is a Puerto Rican by descent but born in Alaska to an Air Force family. She graduated in theatre from the University of Southern California in 1987. Her theatrical credits include roles in plays as "Oklahoma", "The Miracle Worker", "One Flew over the Cuckoo`s Nest", "Peter Pan" and "South Pacific". "Santa Barbara" was her first television role. She had her original screen-test with A Martinez. In her spare time she enjoys a wide range of activities,including singing, jazz and ballet dancing, playing the piano, bicycling, horseback riding and aerobics.
