71) To Master The Onixspected
Who's That Pokemon? Alakazam

The episode starts off with the opening music of the gameboy just like all the other ones
in Pallet Town and it says Ash has 3 weeks left to the Pokemon League and is behind
in training, but training hard, or is he?  It shows him and Brock watching T.V. it is a
Pokemon League battle with Bruno using his Hitmonchan.  Misty turns it off though and
tells Ash he better start training.  Ash says I was training that they were watching Bruno
of the Elite 4 and his tic tacs.  Brock says they were learning his secrets and Misty asks
Ash what they are and Ash doesn't know and Brock's head droops and Misty puts on
a wierd face and says I guess they're too secret to be known.  Ash wishes that Bruno
would help him train and Ash's mom says I know where he is.Ash doesn't believe her
at first, but then she says he trains up in the mountains and Ash jumps up and says
we're going to the mountains today!  It then shows Brock and Ash panting hard sitting
down and offering to stop for Misty so she can rest.Misty isn't tired at all, but says
okay lets find a place where I can rest sarcasticly.Later Ash and Brock are
complaining  how hungary and tired they are.They meet and old lady that is
complaining how people keep stealing her meatballs and look down at the plate she has
and sees it empty.She looks up and sees Ash and Brock eating them, Brock says
perfect and Ash says just the right amount of muskrat.  Misty says they must be really
hungary to eat them when they see in the distance Jesse and James. They yell at them
to stop and the old lady goes after them with her broom hitting them hard making them
drop the 3 bags of meatballs they were carrying.Meowth fast forwards through their
motto making them sound like chimp munks.James complains his mouth hurts after it
; and James says he bit his tongue.  he tells Ash that since they always lose to them they
gave up and are living off the wilderness and Meowth puts in and the lady's meatballs.
they leave and Ash asks about the mountain.The lady tells them that the mountain is
known for their overgrown Onix and Brock is interested that the fertile soil must make
them grow bigger.A few hours later they say Ash looks down and says hey look is
that a road?Brock says that it isn't and was probably made by a really big creature, an
Onix.Right then and Onix comes up and they run for their lives, Misty thinks they're
going to die when a man further ahead beckons them to jump behind a rock.  They do
so and the Onix goes by them leaving them unharmed.Ash turns to thank him and
Brock and Ash's face go into looks of awe.Misty asks them who is it and they say
that it is Bruno.brock gets on his knees and begs him to help Ash train saying that my
friend can sometimes be dumb and do stupid things and he really needs your help to
train for the Pokemon League.Brock motions for Ash to get down and he kneels and
says please help me and Brock motions that isn't enough and pulls him down so his
head is on the ground and makes Ash beg.  Bruno agrees as long as they do everything
he tells them to do and they agree.They start the lesson by carrying two buckets of
water, (Misty doesn't participate in these lessons) and it is supposed to make them
phsyically strong and balanced.  Ash is okay for a couple of steps then falls over
splashing Misty and Brock.  Ash smiles sheepishly and says I've got to work on
balance.  They next lesson is chopping wood and this is supposed to give Ash a good
grip.  Misty mutters he needs to get a grip when Ash chops the wood and sends a
piece flying in Misty's direction hitting her in the face and knocking her off the log she
was sitting on.  Ash again smiles sheepishly at Misty's shoes and legs (all we can see of
her behind the log) and says I guess your head got in the way.  The next lesson is to
peel a twig and Ash peels it perfectly and Bruno takes it and says to them always pack
a fork and breaks the twig in two using them as chopsticks.  Ash is a little discouraged
by this and Misty thinks all his lessons are phoney.  Brock says to test his super speed
and reactions I'm going to sneak up behind him and hit him with this stick.  He should
sense me and stop the attack.  He has a day dream about him doing so and goes
behind them and puts all his force behind the stick.  bruno is still eating and doesn't
react and the stick collides with his head giving him a huge bumb and he says that hurt
then falls over.  Brock then says my image of him has been shattered and it shows a
picture of Bruno and it falls into bits and pieces. Ash asks what the secrets of Pokemon
Training are and Bruno says there are none.  I came up here to catch a strong Onix.
Strong pokemon strong trainers and that leaves Ash, Brock & Misty groaning.  Team
 Rocket overhears the conversation and says all we have to do is catch a strong Onix
and we'll be as good as he is.  Meowth says that they'd have to attack Onix
unexpectedly and Jesse and James say luckily we have an unexpectable weapon and
Meowth says what an unexcepted joke *sigh*.Then a huge Onix comes along and
Team Rocket shoots their gun weapon off at it hitting it and making it mad.  It rises up
to full hight and Team Rocket runs for their life.They spot a cave and go hide inside it.
onix starts banging himself against it making the cave start to cave in and Team Rocket
shouts for help.  Ash, Misty & Brock come around this time and Ash says we have to
save them.  Brock sends out his smaller Onix and Misty says water pokemon are weak
against water pokemon and uses staryu.Ash says two water pokemon are better than
one and chooses squirtle.  Brock orders Onix to use his tackle attack, but Onix is small
compared to the big one and ends up hurting itself more.  Misty tells staryu to use
watergun, and says staryu can't do it alone to Ash and he orders Squirtle to use water
gun too.  Meowth says to Team Rocket now we can run for it and looks around for
them.  Way ahead running away Team Rocket says we're one step ahead of you and
Meowth goes after them.  Onix is recovering from the watergun attack and uses it's tail
to whap staryu and squirtle.  Bruno suddenly appears and tells Ash, Misty, and Brock
to call their pokemon back.  The Onix then whaps it's tail at the edge of the deep ditch
they are standing on and Ash falls in.  Misty and Brock say Ash no! and Pikachu jumps
down and uses his thundershock attacks.  Onix just takes a few seconds to recover
and Ash grabs pikachu saying electris attcks don't affect rock and they huddle together
waiting for Onix to attack them.  Bruno jumps down really fast and piacks up Ash and
Pikachu and saves them from Onix.  He says I'll take care of them and Ash says what
pokemon will you use eagerly a fighting type?  bruno says I'm not using and Ash is
taken aback and Misty and Brock are surprised.  Bruno jumps down and asks Onix
why are you acting like this attacking me and onix dives at him sereval times, but is too
slow.  After a few time bruno jumps on Onix's head and Onix whaps his tail against it's
head making himself dizzy.  Bruno then orders Onix to tell him why he is acting this way
and says to not be afraid of him.  He closes his eyes and concentrats then starts feeling
around Onix's body.  Eventually he gets the right spot and says this will only hurt for a
second and pulls out a sandslash.  Ash says what's that and pulls out his pokedex to
analyze it.  It tells him the info on sandslash, a mouse pokemon evolved from
sandshrew.  Bruno lets the sandslash go and asks onix if he wants to come with him.
Onix wants to and Bruno captures him in a pokeball and jumps back up to be with
Ash, Misty, and Brock.  he tells them the true secret is for pokemon and humans to
care for eachother like Ash and Pikachu and Pikachu and Ash look at eachother and
atart laughing and the episode ends saying it is one day closer to the Pokemon League!

72) The Ancient Puzzle of Pokemopolis
Who's That Pokemon? Jigglypuff
The episode starts right away with Brock sending out Vulpix and Ash Pikachu. The narrator tells us that Ash is finally training for the Pokemon League. Ash tells Pikachu to use agility and Brock orders Vulpix to do the same. They dodge eachother and then Ash orders Pikachu to use an electric attack and Brock tells Vulpix to use her flamethrower when Jigglypuff stands between them and Ash and Brock tell their pokemon to aim their attacks elsewhere. The fire and electricity combine and hit a big cliff side showing a girl and a short man up there.  Down below Ash says something to Pikachu about how strong you've gotten and Brock examines where the attack hit.  He says it looks like a temple and picks up a yellow and brown object with two pointy ends and a blue shape in the middle.  Right when they are all looking at it it is snatched from them.  They turn around and a girl is showing the object to the leader of a group of archaelogists.  The short man says you've done it again Eve.  Ash and Misty are trying to get noticed and Brock says whatever that girl has there I found Quickly Eve grabs his hands and says a quick thank-you, behind him Ash is shaking his head and Misty has a not again look on her face, Eve then goes back talking
to the archaelogists.  She asks them to set up camp so they can study more, but they have already set up camp.  Eve finally talks to Ash, Misty and Brock and tells them that she is trying to find out the secret of Pokemopolis that it was wrecked by a storm many years ago.  She shows them many items and a stone with weird writing (not Japanese). The stone talks about a shadow and a dark force.  The short man interupts them showing them a spoon like thing that is yellow and brown and made of the same stuff the pointy object they first found was of.  The pointy thing begins to glow blue and Pikachu notices. Nobody else does though and Ash asks him what happened.  Pikachu can't tell him though Brock says lets strat digging and runs off, Eve comments to Ash he must love mysteries.  Ash says no, but he does love something embarassly.  The short man starts talking about how smart Eve is and that she is a Doctor.  Brock and says she's too young,
but he says she was a doctor at 9.  Ash, Misty and Brock comment on she's a brain! and Misty says at 9 I was still afraid of the doctor. The camp goes to sleep and then we can see Team rocket spying on them.  Jesse and James say their motto holding pieces of bush covering them.  James says lets steal the artifacts, but Jesse says we can take stuff from the temple itself and sends Arbok in to find the most priceless treasure he can.  While Arbok is gone Jesse asks James what he'll do with his money.  James says well first I'd pay the boss all the money I owe him.... Jesse gets mad and says we won't need him if we are wealthy. Just then Arbok comes up with what I think of as a weird face.  he has 3 black balls in his mouth and Jesse comments angrily that's all you could find?  Just then Arbok disappears inside the black balls.  They float up off the ground making big foot prints as they float along. It paralyzes Jesse and James and sucks them inside.  In the morning the camp arises and Eve finds the black balls the short man kneels down and picks them up, but he gets sucked inside.  The balls show the faces of Team Rocket and the man inside.  After seeing this everybody runs, but it paralyzes the rest of the arcealogists besides Eve and sucks them in too.  The black balls turn into a huge Gengar with weird markings on it.  Ash tries the pokedex on it and agrees with Misty that it isn't real the last gengar he saw was not the size of him.  The pokedex tells him details of Gengar are unknown.  Gengar heads off towards Pallet and Ash says it'll destroy my home town! Ash goes after it and Misty says I'm coming with you Ash and Brock says to Eve to figure out the mystery before it's too late and follows Ash too. Over in Pallet it shows Professor Oak in his field with his pokemon looking up in the mountains seeing the shadow of Gengar and thinks a storm is coming. Ash sends out pidgeotto to use gust attack and Brock sends out Onix.  Pidgeotto is sucked in and Jesse shakins it by its neck saying can't you fight better than that you stupid bird.  They are all stuck in a small space and rather squished together now.  Onix uses his tackle, but dives inside of Gengar and is trapped also.  Ash, Brock, and Misty run back to the camp and Brock sees Eve under the spell. The pointy object, spoon, Eve, and all the other items are floating around. ash tries to
hold Brock back from rescuing Eve saying he might be put under the spell too.  The spoon inserts itself into the blue shape in the middle of the pointy object and light glows around releasing a huge Alakazam.  Eve is free of the spell now and Ash says is that a Kadabra?  Brock tells him it is an Alakazam and he uses his pokedex on it too.  It also has strange markings on it. Alakazam and Gengar starts to battle and then Eve says I've got it the shadow is these two pokemon and they destroyed Pokemopolis.  Eve is mad at herself for not realizing sooner and I shouldn't have tried to discover the secret of Pokemopolis. Misty tells her how was she to know and Ash says that it wasn't their fault whoever wrote the tablet should have made it easier to understand.  Gengar Paralyzes them all, but Pikachu.  Ash tells Pikachu to run in the water and use his electric attacks.  He shocks Alakazam and Gengar Ash tries using two pokeballs on them because they are pokemon, but the pokeballs explode.  Just then Jigglypuff comes along and is hit by an explosion.  She is flown through the air. Ash and the gang can move
again and areaway on a rock using binoculars to watch the events.  Ash says to Jigglypuff if you knock them out you'll be Pallet's favourite vocalist.  Jigglypuff sings for a while, but it has a no effect we see something glowing where the temple was and then Jigglyouff is knocked away by Gengar and Alakazam. Out of the glowing thing comes a huge Jigglypuff with the strange markings also. She sings but has a terrible deep voice.It works though and puts Alakazam and Gengar to sleep.  Ash, Misty, Brock and Eve cover their ears from the sound of the other Jigglypuff.The big Jigglypuff takes its buket it was singing into and pulls out a paintbrush with red paint and paints flowers on Gengar and paints on Alakazam too.The giant pokemon disappear and they say good-bye to Eve and the episode ends saying will Ash every train for the Pokemon League?

73) Bad to the Bone
Who's That Pokemon? Moltres
Ash back in Pallet Town asks Professor Oak for advice because they didn't train as much as they should have.  Professor Oak gets really angry and says if you aren't ready now you might as well pack it in and quit!  Ash runs out as fast as he can.  Brock, Misty and Ash say good-bye to Mrs. Ketchum and thank-you for letting them stay at her house.She says it was a pleasure and the gang finally leave Pallet and are off to the Indigo Plateau.  As they are walking down a grassy path a man falls down from nowhere and challenges Ash to a battle. he says the winner gets to keep the loser's badges.  Misty says to Ash don't do it and Ash is about to walk by when the man says go no further if you think you will lose to me you will not stand a chance at the Pokemon League.Ash gets really mad and accepts the challenge.  The man sends out Marowak and Ash sends out Bulbasaur, Bulbasaur is beaten so Ash uses Pikachu.Pikachu uses lots of agility attacks to dodge Marowaks bone, and then uses thundershock beating Marowak. The man is shocked that he lost and Ash asks about the badges, but the man says he has none.Ash is now even more mad and says you acted like you had some! The man tells him the his name is Otoshi and that on the way a talking Mewoth stole his badges.  Ash knows right away who it is and says it was Team Rocket.  We then see that Otoshi and Marowak were on their way to the pokemon League and they were very hungry.  In the middle of the road there was a plate of food and they ran to eat it.  the place caved in and they fell into one of Team Rocket's holes and then they stole his badges.Ash says we'll help you find them and Misty and Brock tell him he'll be late for the Pokemon League.Ash says I'd feel really bad too if someone stole may badges and then it shows clips form all 8 battles and Ash says stealing them from one trainer is like stealing them from all of them. Meanwhile James and Meowth are by their balloon and James says lets look at those badges one more time.Meowth agrees and looks for them, but can't find
them.Meowth says I can't find where Jesse and I hid them.  they look for Jesse and James asks what did she say she had to do again?  Meowth replies shopping.James says she took a green package wrapped with ribbon with her.Meowth is all mad and says she stole the badges we stole! Ash sends out Pidgeotto to look for Team Rocket and Pidgeotto spots James and Mewoth in the balloon looking for jesse also.Ash makes them come down. James says that Jesse ran away with them, but Misty says lets see if thats true.  they look through all his belongings and Brock says it's just a pile of junk here!James whines it has centimental value when Meowth interupts them.  marowak is hopping up and down and Meowth translates what he's saying for them.Marowak wishes right now he wasn't a pokemon and he put in all that effort and wasted time for nothing.Otoshi tries to comfort it, but he slaps away his hand leaving Otoshi yelping in pain and walks off.Otoshi is really sad and Ash says the only way to get him back is to find your badges.James and Meowth fly off in their balloon
saying we have to find Jesse before they do.We now see Jesse dressed in a pink dress like thing, stuff they might wear in Asia with a cloth covering her face from the nose down.Those fools (James and Meowth) will never recognize me now!  She runs into another pokemon trainer going to the Pokemon League and they look at eachother's badges.She says look over there and is about to steal the badges when a Team Rocket smoke bomb lands by them and explodeds revealing James saying the motto.Jesse joins in part way and the other trainr runs away shouting help!, Team Rocket!James says that Jesse has been become shamed and Jesse is all upset.James and Meowth make her promise to not do it again that we can be meaner together.Jesse says that's fine as long as she's the meanest, (James and Meowth fall down in the background).We then see Marowak walking through the forest he sees a Chansey playing catch with her trainer and a Hitmonlee practicing his kicks with it's trainer.he then thinks of Otoshi and all the training they did together, sitting under waterfalls, jumping through
hoops of fire and gets all sad and satrts running to go back to him. Meanwhile Ash and the gang have found Team Rocket and Otoshi challenges Jesse to a match. Jesse uses Arbok of course and Otoshi uses Doduo.Ash again uses his Pokedex on it wondering what it is even though I thought he found out in an earlier episode.  Doduo fights well, but the heads start fighting eachother and Arbok is winning.Jesse is going to try to use a pokeball on it and catch it for herself when Marowak's bone hit's it out of the way.  he beats Arbok and then James sends out Weezing.Ash sends Pikachu and Pikachu beats Weezing.  Team Rocket flys of in their balloon with Otoshi's badges, but Marowak throws his bone at them blasting them off again.Misty catches the badges as they fall from the balloon.Ash, Brock, and Misty see Indigo Plateau  and Misty is gald that Ash helped Otoshi and Brock said that they might be late for the opening games and then the episode ends showing Indigo Plateau and Ash running off after it saying that the Pokemon League is Tomorrow and will he be a winner there? He is already
a winner at life.

 *79.A Friend In Deed
               After making friends with this Richie guy, Ash has to fight him.... On the way to the
               Pokeleague, he runs into Team Rocket, takes care of them and goes on to fight Richie.
               Richie's butterfree beats Squirtle, but Pikachu beats butterfree. Then Richie's
               charmander beats Pikachu. Ash brings out Charizard... Charizard beats charmander,
               so Richie brings out his own pikachu. Charizard does nothing.... Ash loses since
               charizard doesn't fight.... and Ash loses the match.

           80. Friends to the End
               Ash is sulking in a bed in a house they were staying in because he lost in the Pokemon
               League. Outside Brock, Misty, Professor and his mom are saying that he hasn't eaten or
               come out for days. Misty goes in and asks him if he wants food or to go for a walk, Ash
               rudely pushes her aside and making Misty mad. She says she was only trying to help. Ash
               and Misty get in a fight. Professor Oak then gives a lecture saying if Ash trained harder he
               would have done better. Ash stops argueing with Misty and stares at him. Misty comments to
               Pikachu about lazy trainers and Ash says are you calling me lazy? Misty says no, I was
               talking to Pikachu, they start fighting again, but Pikachu uses his thundershock to shock the
               whole house and stop the fight. The TV is on and it is talking about the next battle. It then
               shows Richie getting ready to go and Ash and gang come down to cheer him on. It shows the
               battle and it flashes these pokemon in this order; charmander, rhyhorn, butterfree,
               venomoth, spearow, tentacool and then it is down to Richie's Sparky and the opponent
               Asuta's Ivysaur. Sparky is beaten really badly and Ash is surprised that he lost too. Richie
               runs to Sparky and picks him up and asks if he's okay. In the background Asuta is hugging
               Ivysaur saying you never let me down. Later Richie is looking out at a lake and Ash comes
               down and hesitintly approaches. Richie says it's okay, they now have another thing in
               common. The Pikachus play together. Richie says that losing has made him into a better
               trainer and he won't make the same mistakes and will train harder. Ash hears this and it
               makes him think that he was acting like a big baby. They both vow over the lake to be a
               pokemon master. Just then the Pikachu's fall down a hole (cute eyes) Ash and Richie run
               towards it and fall down another hole. Ash mutters ow that didn't tickle. Team Rocket appears
               and says their motto. Meowth comments this trap is a whole lot better than their others and
               Jesse says the twerps are finally looking up to us. They reach down a micanical arm and put
               the pikachu's into a shock proof cage. They then march off, but Ash and Richie fly out with
               Happy and Pidgeotto. They battle TR and the Pikachu's cage breaks. They throw the highly
               shock cage at them and Team Rocket blasts off after being electricuted from it. Misty and
               Brock then come and find them and ask both of them to come for dinner then the can go to
               the closing cereimonies of the Pokemon league. Later the Trainers walk on to the field and
               are awarded a badge. Outside the stadium TR is frantically digging under the stadium to
               come up and steal the trainer's pokemon. The league has fireworks to celebrate the end and
               Meowth then tells them listening through a stephoscope they are under them and they dig up
               and a lighted fire work falls in the tunnel. It exploadeds and for a final time in the episode
               they blast off. Everyone looks and enjoys the fireworks. The next day Richie and Ash are
               sitting alone in the empty stadium and said that they had fun. There is then a flash back
               with the theme song, Richie and Ash say good-bye till next time and the gang is waiting for
               Ash so they can go back to Pallet.

       81. Pallet Party Panic

               Back in Pallet the folks are having a party for Ash doing well representing Pallet and placing
               in the top 16 trainers. Ash does a thank-you small speech. Brock says the food is great and
               rips savagely some chicken off a bone and scarfs down some more food. They decide to let
               their pokemon out to enjoy the party, just as Ash is going to send Charizard out Misty and
               Brock tell him that he really shouldn't and Ash has another flash back of Charizard not
               obeying him and says I guess I'll invite him next time. Ash says lets eat fast so we can eat
               again. TR is making food and putts hot peppers and mustard on them. Their plan in to grab
               Pikachu when the trainers are choking on the hot food. Ash asks them for some food, they
               give it to him and say be sure to eat it while it's hot! Brock and some of the Pokemon eat it
               and then breath fire, Misty uses Staryu to cool them off and drenches them. Ash mocks that
               they can't take some spicy food and eats some and makes even more of a scene. TR then
               steals Pikachu and says their motto. Brock, Misty, and Ash say it's not funny to play with food
               and throw the food at them, it lands in their mouth and they breath fire. They then fly off in
               their balloon and throw little explosives down. Ash sends out Squirtle to water gun them, but
               it doesn't work well, he then uses Pidgeotto to fly and burst the balloon, it works, but some
               how they have a new balloon. Pidgeotto tries again, but gets hit by Arbok's poison sting
               attack and falls down, Ash catches him and asks if he's okay. He then tries Charizard.
               Charizard won't listen to Ash's plead of helping him get Pikachu back and his eye gets caught
               on the lovely food. One of the explosives blow up the food table when he's about to take
               something. He gets mad and flies after Team Rocket and hits the explosives back at them
               blasting them off. Pikachu falls and Charizard catches him. In the air Ash says to Charizard
               so you're finally obeying me, Charizard spits a little fire at him turning Ash all gray saying, I
               guess not. TR lands in a tree full of Pidgeotto and Pidgey and are stuck there. Back in Oak's
               Lab Ash gets Pidgeotto back all healed saying that this Pidgeotto would do anything for Ash.
               They say they wish Charizard was like that. Professor Oak then wants the trio to go to
               Professor Ivy on Volencia Island in the Orange Archipelago to pick up a special pokeball that
               is unable to be transported. The trio walk through the forest when they say that it is too quiet
               and look up to see a swarm of Spearow and a Fearow above, they attack Ash and gang and
               they run from them. Ash then wonders why the Fearow is attacking them and looks it up in
               the pokedex. He then has yet another flash back, (read previous summaries) to the first
               episode and thinks it must be the Spearow he threw the rock at. Fearow swoops down and
               grabs Ash and Pikachu, he flies off with them and Ash tells Pikachu to thunder shock Fearow.
               The Fearow drops them and they land in the same tree as Team Rocket. TR says that they
               can't leave the tree because of the Spearow and the Pidgey and Pidgeotto are scared of
               them. Ash says that he'll help them down and jumps on the branches making TR fall out of
               the tree. The Spearow attack them and they run off leading the Spearow away. The Pidgeys
               are still scared so Ash sends Pidgeotto out to tell them it is safe. Pidgeotto leads them away,
               but the Fearow is still their and knocks Pidgeotto down. Pidgeotto then evolves into Pidgeot
               to save them and beckons Ash to get on his back. Together the attack the Fearow and
               Pikachu jumps on Fearow shocking it. Ash tries to capture it, but the Fearow hits the pokeball
               back. All the Pidgeys then attack the Fearow. The Fearow leaves and Ash decides to let
               Pidgeot protect the flock until they come back with the pokeball and Pidgeot flies away.
               Meanwhile the episode ends with TR jumping really high in the air still being attacked by
               Spearow.

       82. A Scare in the Air

               On the way to Volencia Island the wonder how to get there. They all look at each other
               expecting each other to know. Brock is goggling over a guide and thinking how many girls will
               be there. Ash comes out with a lot of groceries saying he bought snacks that will last them a
               week. Misty asks how long he thinks it will take them to walk there and Ash says a month.
               Brock says it is half a day by blimp. Ash says I wish I had enough money. Out my the store
               you can show your receipt to them to have a chance to win a prize. A gold marble falls out
               and Ash wins the trip. (It is not TR) Misty and Ash fall down beside him and Ash says I guess
               you can't lose them all. TR is on a lap top connected to Giovanni and are being switched to
               the blimp bergade. TR takes it as a great honor and a crying together. It then shows
               Giovanni looking at pictures of the blimps saying they aren't fit to fly and the only thing he
               has is the insurance policy. While Ash and friends arrive at the blimp field two guys come up
               to them and ask if the are going on a blimp. They reply yes and they ask how much they are
               getting paid to go on and that they were full of ghosts. Jesse and James then show up in
               their blimp uniforms and push Ash and friends aboard. Jigglypuff then comes along and
               pictures the lever that releases the blimp as a microphone and jumps to if. She accidentally
               pushes it and releases the balloon. Ash is looking at the floor and Misty and Brock ask what
               he's thinking. He answers for a moment I thought the floor would fall through and then it
               does and Ash is hanging out of the blimp. Misty and Brock help him up. Dinner is served and
               Brock asks why the soup is ice cold. Jesse replies it is an old eskimo recipe. The then get to
              the question who is flying the blimp and nobody is so TR rushes up and they all argue about
               it. The blimp then is off balanced and Meowth tells them that a structure of a blimp contains
               two tanks of water one on each end and it controls the balance. They keep letting too much
               water out each side and our heroes are violently being tossed from side to side. The finally
               get it equal in balance and they see they are flying into the storm. Meowth says they can
               crash land by pressing a certain button, but TR doesn't want to do that. Jigglypuff climbs up
               the rope her foot got tied onto attached to the lever. Later recovering from being tossed
               around so much Misty then notices Togepy is gone. They look for Togepy. Jigglypuff then
               sees a candle and imagines it as a microphone and gets tangled up in a table cloth. Ash,
               Misty and Brock see Jigglypuff in the sheet and remember the guys that told the the blimp is
               haunted. They run away very scared. TR is looking for the trio, but can't find them anywhere.
               Jesse says they seem to have vanished like a ghost. Meowth then goes gaaaaaaaa and says
               there's a ghost behind them. They turn and see jigglypuff and run away. The sheet then falls
               off of Jigglypuff. Ash looks really scared and asks Brock and Misty if they want to get off
               because they look scared. Misty says she won't leave with out Togepy. TR then finds them
               and says their motto. They have another battle and Geodude throws Weezind out of the
               blimp creating a hole. The hole gets larger and the blimp starts to fall apart. Misty sees
               Togepy and asks Ash if Bulbasaur could help her walk across the beam to Togepy,(it is very
               high) Ash agrees and Misty is close to Togepy when Jigglypuff falls inbetween them. Meowth
               climbs along one of the beams also to sneak up behind and grab Pikachu. TR falls and
               material is ripped of the blimp. They make it into a parachute, but Jigglypuff lands on top
               and starts to sing making them let go and fall asleep as they fall down......The gas tanks of
               the blimp are leaking and the trio uses there pokemon weight to steer the ship. Onix is too
               heavy so Brock returns him. It shows the blimp going up and down and they crash land on
               Violencia Island.

       83. Pokeball Peril 

               Our heroes are on the island and keep walking looking for Professor Ivy's Lab. Brock wonders
               if there are any Nurse Joy's on the Island. The see a Pokemon Center and go in. Brock
               goggles over the Joy there and she tells them directions on getting to the lab. They enter the
               lab and 3 girls come up from a trapdoor in the floor and say that they'll take them to
               Professor Ivy. On they way they see a lady training a Gyarados, Cloyster, and a Poliwhirl.
               Brock goes aww over her and the 3 girls call out Professor and she comes out of the water
               and introduces herself as Professor Ivy. She takes them to see the pokeball that is gold and
               silver eith a G and a S engraved on it. They show that they have tried many ways to open it
               ending in failure and shows them that they can't transport it either. She gives the ball to Ash
               and he phones Professor Oak and shows him the pokeball. The two professors talk to each
               other each saying they read eachother's artical with extreamly long names. Ash asks if
               they're done. Meanwhile it shows TR looking at the destroyed blimp. Jesse says lets get to
               work and fix it. James says he doesn't know the first thing about work. Brock is fascinated at
               the island there are different recipes of food and the pokemon are all slightly different then
               their normal types. It then shows a Butterfree in a tree that hasn't eaten it's food in days.
               Brock smells its food and eats some then Brock runs off saying he knows what to do. He
               makes some of the food adding crushed berries to make it taste better and the Butterfree
               eats it all up. The Professor then shows then their house which is a disgusting mess. Ash
               says a dump is cleaner. Brock can't resist it and puts on a apron and say have no fear Brock
               is hear and has the dump spakling in seconds. He then cooks a delicious food and they
              noisly eay it. Ash and Misty comment to eachother how loud it is and Brock says its just like
               home. Later Ash and Misty are sleeping. Professor Ivy is down with the three girls studying
               Vileplume. They are releasing a powder marking their territory when a Raticate comes and
               breaths it in. He falls down having trouble breathing and the Professor runs out to save it she
               carries it out of reach of the powder and they both collapse. Later Misty and Ash looking dead
               tired say they're glad they woke them up for this and they show the Raticate and Porfessor
               Ivy on a strecher. They will both recover sence they got away fast enough. The next day Ash
               says they have to go. They ask where Brock is and his is repairing the roof. He tells Ash they
               need him more than they do and he can learn lots about pokemon breeding here. They
               grasp hands and say good-bye and Brock tells them not to forget him and the keep waving
               and say good-bye. Misty asks Ash how they are going to get back, they can't go on the
               blimp. Ash agrees the food was bad and they didn't show a movie on the other one. The see
               an all new awesome blimp that TR made from the old one and are pushed inside and Jesse
               says Prepare for take off. The site in two seats and say they're hungry. TR drops a cage over
               them. They say their motto and notice there is only two of them. Jesse say romantic people
               huh, Misty and Ash blush but say are you kidding. Jesse points out you
               blushed.........Jigglypuff then shows up and sings TR tries to escape wearing parachutes.
               James opens the door and they fall down asleep, but with their parachutes open. Jigglypuff
               goes with them and now with no one driving the blimp Ash and Misty are drifting into
               danger.............

Episode#85 Fit to be Tide

               WHO'S THAT POKÉMON? Primeape

               Ash, Misty and Tracy Sketcher are on their way to the Orange Islands so Ash can try to qualify
               for the Orange League. They use Lapras to ferry them across the water. Everyone is hungary
               and tracey tells them that Miken Island is ahead so they can eat and there is a gym there.
               Meanwhile behind them TR (Team Rocket) follows them in a new Magikarp sub. Full speed
               ahead-Jesse, how about no speed ahead, I'm pooped-James. The pedals get stuck and TR
               sinks down to the bottom. When Ash, Tracey & Misty arrive on the Island they phone
               Professor Oak and introduce Tracey as a pokemon watcher/sketcher. Ash says he caught
               Lapras and Professor Oak tells hime to train Lapras well. He is then brought down on the
               ground by Muk and Ash hangs up the phone. Later the group spots the gym ahead. Ash and
               Pikachu run towards it and Ash stops and goes back at the sight of a coconut Ash picks it up
               and a shower of water pours down on him. A little boy comes out and insults him because he
               set the trap and then an older girl comes out. She accuses the boy of causing trouble and
               Ash announces he wants to battle the gym leader. She says she's the gym leader, Sissy and
               she accepts. Instead of battling like they did in the Indigo league it is a test of skill and
               Ash's Squirtle against Sissy's Seadra aims their water gun at cans and moving targets to win.
               It is a draw and Sissy announces they need a wave ride to decide the winner. TR shows up
               just before they were about to start and says their motto, It's always the same thing -Misty,
               They changed the beginning a bit -Ash. TR tells how their sub got tangled up in seaweed and
               James untangled it and the sub floated up without him. He swam as fast as he could and
               didn't know if he'd make it and they burst into tears saying they're glad they're here. Sissy's
               Blastoise she chose for the Race and Ash's Lapras catch TR's eyes and they try to capture
               both of them in a net, but only get the Blastoise. The sub malfunctions again and TR tries to
               push it and Blastoise swims speedily upwards with TR holding on when they reach the surface,
               Why do I feel like the catch of the day? -James. Ash ans Sissy finally have their race and
               they have to stand up on their pokemon. Lapras wins by a nose after freezing the home
               strch with her icebeam and sliding back faster. Ash is then awarded his Coral Eye badge.

         Episode #86 Pikachu Revolts

               WHO'S THAT POKÉMON? Kangaskhan

               When are we going to eat?- Ash starts out saying like always. Mandarin Island is up a head
               Tracey tells them. Meanwhile our old friends Cassidy and Butch are watching them on a video
               screen. When Ash and the gang dock they first notice a Grimer, Voltorb and quite a few
               Magnemite that are shocking their trainers completely against them. Ash and Pikachu run
               forward and Pikachu glows black and returns to normal, but turns and gives Ash a look of
               hatred worse than in the first episode. Togepi jumps away from Misty and Turns a hating
               glance at Misty too and then they disappear. Officer Jenny appears on her motor bike with a
               Gastly that keeps interrupting her. Many pokemon have turned against their trainers then
               vanish. Ash calls Professor Oak about what has happened and he is puzzled. Ash and Misty
               are really upset and want their pokemon back. We then see TR. and Meowth gets affected
               and runs away, Jesse and James run after him and are stopped by a warning voltage sign at
               a huge electric site. Meowth climbs through a hole and Jesse and James follow him. Jesse
               and James fall in and Jesse says it's Cassidy and James says it's Botch, Butch gets all made
               and yells it's Butch! The couples argue over who is better at saying the motto and they get
               really tired, We're just as good as you! -Jesse. Cassidy and Butch show all the pokemon they
               have under control saying that Jesse and James would never be able to catch as many. Jesse
               and James say they can if they steal them form Cassidy and Butch. They send out Weezing,
               Victreebel, Lickitung and Arbok. Victreebell chomps James' head again. Butch's Drowzee is
               controlling all the pokemon and soon control Jesse's and James' pokemon. Butch and
               Cassidy send all the pokemon against Jesse and James. Later Jesse and James are with Ash
               in the gang recovering at the pokecenter. Ash says they found them unconscious in the
               street. They ask for their help to find their pokemon and Jesse says she won't help the police
               it would blemish her criminal record. Ash blocks the door they try and leave out of and Ash
               asks if they care about their pokemon and he starts to sob a bit about Pikachu. Jesse and
               James then agree to help, but just this once. Jesse and James wheel a cart of pokeballs up
               to the building Cassidy and Butch are in and say it is a present to forgive them. Cassidy says
               it isn't like them and Jessie throws it at them and Tracey, Ash, Misty, and Officer Jenny come
               out of it. Jenny sends Gastly against Drowzee. They battle and Cassidy orders Drowzee to
               only control Pikachu. Ash mocks Pikachu as Pikachu tries to shock him hard and runs around
               avoiding Pikachu's shocks. Butch thinks he's lost it, but Ash leads Pikachu's shock to hit the
               machine Drowzee's on and all the pokemon are back to normal. Weezing uses smokescreen
               so they can all escape. TR. then says to Ash not too bad twerp, Ash gives them a thumbs up
               sign. Butch has Drowzee and battle with Jesse and James, Ash agrees to help and is
               surprised when Jessie puts a hand on his shoulder and says we'll win this one. During the
               battle, nobody notices Togepi waving his fingers, he stops and gives a happy ppppreeeeeee
               and the place blows up. Cassidy and Butch are arrested saying they're carted off again. Ash
               is awarded medals and Jesse and James aren't there to receive theirs. They are on the roof
               above and Jesse says Wrong is where we belong and James says right. The Ash, Tracey and
               Misty finally leave the island on Lapras and are looking forward to more adventures.

         Episode #87 Crystal Onix

               WHO'S THAT POKÉMON? Rhyhorn

               On their way to the next Island Lapras finds a bottle in the water and picks it up in it's mouth
               and gives it to Ash. inside the bottle is a note from a little girl that says Know anymore about
               a crystal Onix? -Marisa. The walk into town and see an older man pressuring a little girl to
               shut down her store. Ash and the gang ask what is wrong and the older guys asks if they
               know her. When they say no he says it's know of their business and walks away. The little girl
               said her name is Marisa and Ash remembers the note. she wrote it she says an begs them to
               tell her about the crystal Onix. When they say they don't know what it is her face falls. Ash
               asks if she runs this place by herself, she says her brother does most of the work and Ash
               asks to talk to her brother. Ash asks why the store is almost empty and he tells how his
               Grandpa was really talented at making lifelike statues and he's tried his best to follow in his
               foot steps, but he can't carve anything good enough to sell. Misty says they look almost like
               the real thing and he grabs one and smashes it on the floor. Misty thinks that was a waste.
               The boy then continues on how his Grandpa saw the crystal Onix and got inspiration to turn
               out great sculptures. He wants to find the crystal Onix so that he can be inspired just like his
               Grandpa. TR. is looking through the mans store that was talking to the girl and accidentally
               drop what they are looking at. Since the can't pay they have to work chopping wood. The man
               walks by talking to another about the kids looking for the dumb Crystal Onix. Jesse and
               James hear this and escape to look for the Onix. Tracey sends out his Venonat to try and
               find the Onix and shows him a glass statue of one. Venonat finds a pile of rocks that looks
               like on Onix. Tracey calls Venonat back and sends out Marill. He plays a tape recording of
               Onix to Marill and Marill runs of hearing a sound of one. They are lead to a beach and Marill
               shows them an island across the water. The sea splits forming a path and The gang runs
               across and falls in a hole. What should we do? -Tracey. You should prepare for trouble!
               -Jesse. TR. recites their motto, Misty says why don't you make like a tree and leaf (leave).
               Who told you that one? Professor Oak? -James. They run off and the gang gets out of the
               hole and continues on. They come across TR. again and they say they got stuck in the traps
               they set for them and ask for help. Ash continues along without helping them and the others
               follow. Inside is a huge crystal cave. Marill jumps in the water his little tail floating and comes
               up and back to shore shouting Marill, Marill! Tracey sees the head of the crystal Onix and
               points it out and it disappears. The Onix comes out of the water and Marisa's brother sends
               out Cloyster because Onix is weak against water, but it has no affect. TR. shows up and tells
               them to get away from their Onix. How did you escape? -Ash Even the writers don't know!
               -TR. Jesse and James then imagine crystal ornaments and crystal pools. Pikachu shocks
               them and they run into the Onix. Jesse says what a nice Onix, but Onix whips them away with
               his tail and are blasted off. The brother then sends out Charmeleon and he uses flame
               thrower then ember. The Onix is surrounded in fire and locks eyes with the boy. The Onix
               collapses and Marisa asks if he will catch it, but he says he doesn't need to he felt the
               inspiration in the look the Onix gave him. The gang leaves and Ash has received a lifelike
               glass Pikachu and the narrator announces
