Story: A rich sickly woman plans to move her soul into the body of a very young, beautiful and naive spiritual girl. But it gets into the body of Steve Martin by mistake.
Comment: You wanna have fun? Watch this movie. Martin is probably the only physical comedian whom I can tolerate. And he's sure does have fun here.
With the bulk of the jokes being a bossy woman sharing a body with a man, Martin has a field day making his right, or was it left, side walking womanly, while he flirts with the left, or was it right? Lily Tomlin's presence is mostly in the form of her snide comments in Martin's head. This provides the necessary balance to prevent this movie from degenerating into a long Three Stooges type of movie where the ONLY humour is physical. It doesn't happen here.
What you do get is a nice balance, good music and a movie not too long that the comedy becomes stale with your popcorn.
Conclusion: Have a nice 1 1/2 hours.
