This is drinking game designed to be played while watching Channel 4's vampire drama Ultraviolet, Wednesdays 10pm (Last episode 21st October 1998). You can incorporate eating garlic or supping holy water if you want!

  • The containment facility is under threat and a Marshmallow man is poised to blast the city - oops, wrong film - 2 fingers

  • The teacher is shown to own something she could not possibly afford on her salary - 1 sip

  • Susanna Harker (Angie) is supercilious - 1 sip

  • Someone refers to "garlic" - 3 sips

  • Someone uses "fingers" to ward off a vampire - 3 sips

  • Someone is watching "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" - 3 fingers

  • A "This Lifer" turns up - half a bottle

  • Mulder and Scully arrive to help along investigations - a bottle of champagne

  • The priest figure calls someone "my son" - 3 fingers

  • Every time a vampire gets disintegrated: 1 finger

  • Jack's hair gets messed up and starts to look Miles-ish : drink everything 'cause this is too awful to contemplate

  • Jack runs, jumps and brandishes a gun/vampire killing weapon of some sort: 4 fingers

  • Jack goes to the Woolwich to sort out account details: 2 glasses (ah, the usefulness of the "Pause" button! See Episode 1)

  • Jack gets new, groovy car befitting his status as vampire slayer: 2 fingers

  • Jack picks up a case of Mulderitis (def.: a scar which shows recipient has been in a struggle but usually located in the temple region so as not to obscure chiselled features) - 2 sips
