Ohayo!!!! So you've come to this section to dig up some dirt on me, eh? Well for starters, I am female if you haven't guessed that already, and I am net-less. Yep, my computer's so ghetto, that I practically designed this whole page using my university's computer lab. I am also Canadian (eh!) and as you've guessed, yeppers, in university.
Yes, I'm a major anime fan, but, it is not my only interest. I am a major cultural buff, I love attending art shows, musicals, plays, etc. At one point in time, I had prided myself for having seen almost every musical that was showing in Toronto. I also love to travel, having been to England, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Mexico, Jamaica--mon ^_^, Philippines, and all over Canada and the US. As you can see, I haven't really had much exposure to Asia, which is one of the reasons I'm dying to experience Japanese culture. If its one thing I love when I travel, its the culture shock. From my many travels, I still like Italy and France best (particularly Venice) because of the vast amounts of ancient architecture and artifacts remaning from the past. I can be quite the history buff, when it suits me. One of my most traumatic experiences occured though during my visit to Rome. My tour group and I had made a visit to one of the ancient catacombs. Now if there is one thing I am majorly particular about, it is skeletons. I don't know why, but they absolutely scare the shit out of me. I can't even take them in movies like T2, or Demon City Shinjuku. Unfortunately, me and these two other girls from the group got lost in the catacombs so we practically ran around in circles trying not to look at all those wretched bones, but the place was like a friggin maze. Finally one of the guides found us, and had to take us out. God, I'd hate to have his job. Speaking of Terminator 2, for those of you who have been to the Universal Studios Ride, you'll know that there is one portion where you see all these skeletons lying around from the aftermath of the war. When I went, everyone else was screaming when all the 3-D monsters were like attacking us, yet I thought it was damn cool. When do I scream? Well you guessed it, when the creepy skeletons popped up, and everyone was just chillin'. I have a tendency to be caught in those kind of situations a lot.
What else am I into?! Hmmmm....I love anything related with the "Star Wars" universe, Luke still being my fave, and yes, for those of you who read my "Stormriders" fan-fic, yup, I do have the green light-saber, complete with sound effects. Not to toot my own horn....(ble-e-e-t), I am pretty damn good musician. Unfortunately, I play the two instruments everybody in the world play: piano, and flute. At the moment; however, I'm taking a breather from the world of music, as I am not doing anything remotely involved with it. I did pass the university entrance audition I attended but I declined their offer *laughs evily* ha! ha! ha! (Hiei: What are you laughing for, its more your loss than theirs?!! Mel: D'ohhhhh!!!!!) Well moving on, I'm not really into the internet "chat" scene or anything like that, because as a friend of mine would say: my computer "sucks the bag", and I don't even have the net at home!!! But when and if I ever get it, look out ICQ, I'm coming over!!! I'm also really into martial arts, which I've been taking for a few years. If you have the time or money take it, it's a lot of fun, and I guarantee you will not regret it. Hell, you can even try Billy Blank's tae-bo, if that's more your bag. Well by the length of this thing, you guys have learned another thing about me: I love to talk, and I have no desire to stop once you get me started....but I digress, all good things must come to an end, I need my beauty sleep...SAYONARA!!!!! ^_^x
For those of you who've been wondering what the "Demonic One" looks like, check out these pics, I obtained from my kind friend ZEV. You can check out her PHOTO ALBUM for more pics of mes amis.
Me and my pals, chillin' at the prom. I'm the one wearing the long black spaghetti strapped dress, standing beside my friend Jo, dressed in white. (The 2nd girl from the right, for those I've confused). Zev is the other gal beside me.
Me and my friend Kim as "Bonnie and Clyde" (j/k) at one of my friend's murder myster parties.
