Mush in Veridian Forest

"Ouch, stupid twigs!" Mush muttered, as she finally reached Veridian forest. She was told that she had to go through this forest in order to get to Pewter City.

"Squirtle!" Mush's Squirtle chanted.

"Hey, how did you get out of your Pokéball? Get back in, silly!" Mush laughed, as she threw the Pokéball lightly at Squirtle.

The Squirtle jumped back, blocking itself from getting in the Pokéball.

"SQUIRTLE!" it grumbled loudly.

Mush took out Dexter, her Pokédex.

"The Pokéball. Pokémon should be kept in Pokéballs during training." Dexter answered.

Squirtle jumped up, pressing another button on Dexter.

"Although, some Pokémon absolutely HATE being put in a Pokéball." Dexter answered again.

"Oh, alright, if that's what you want to do, then you may do that!" Mush smiled, as Squirtle giggled with glee.

*tap tap tap*

Mush heard a weird tapping noise from behind her, and either yet, she spotted a POKéMON!

"Ratatta, a rat Pokémon. Is found near forests, and is extremely quick." Dexter said.

"Heh, Ratatta, you're MINE!" Mush laughed. "Squirtle, water gun!"

Squirtle blasted a huge water gun at Ratatta. Ratatta went flying up, and splattered onto the grassy ground.

"Pokéball, GO!" Mush yelled, as she threw the Pokéball towards Ratatta.

The Pokéball sucked in Ratatta. It jiggled sideways, then up and down. The the Pokéball suddenly stopped.

"YES! We caught Ratatta!" Mush squealed, happlily holding up the ball with Ratatta in it.

Mush petted Squirtle, and laughed with joy.

"Come on, we have MUCH more Pokémon to catch Squirtle!" Mush smiled, as she ran off deeper into the forest, closer to Pewter City.
