A WEEK THAT WAS
First of all...my apologies for not keeping the
website up to date.It has been several weeks since
i last updated it.
Anyway, lets see whats happened this week.
The Tuesday 4,s see new leaders at the top,and it
is no surprise to me that Sub Zero are up there by
a point. To me, they are the most consistant and
strongest team in the league, and i cant see them
giving away their position, unless they decide to
have a drink problem (enough about drink).
An 8-0 win over bottom team Strike it Lucky took
them to the top, with Elaine,Paul and Craig G.,all
bowling 500 series.
Second place Sixty Niners beat Tornadoes 6-2,with
Joanne Dixon highest scorer,495.....nice one,boss.
Ian Carrick was top male with 610 scratch (688)
showing his dad a thing or two,me thinks, and his
mum,Elaine, nearly took all the female honours
apart from Elaine Barker taking HSS (574).
3rd place Sizzlers seem to be sizzling out with an
8-0 defeat at the hands of 5th place Airways.
The Wednesday trios sees Us-N-Er at the top of the
league,by 5 points,with Elaine,Paul and Tony all
in the 500,s,with Paul Barker bowling 247 in his
first game.
Guns N Roses hold onto 2nd spot, and Crimpers,
the only 8-0 winners on the night, move into 3rd
place,beating Rogered.
For those of you who dont know..(and i dont think
there will be that many) Chris Sheader became a
pensioner at the ripe age of 60.
And to Russ...sorry,you kept on at me to advertise
the quiz night. The quiz is on Friday the 1st of June,
which was last night,so if you can attend,...your too
late.
I need photos of activity at the alley. If you have any,
please forward them to me....Not you, Barker.
In the near future i am going to redesign the site,
as you must all be fed up of the same stuff.
Do you want aliens returning...or do you want a
whole new idea ?
Dave
