The mountains and forest meet in this area, but it's hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. The plants of the forest stretch out vines that reach into the mounatins, and small boulders litter the ground at the forest's edge. At the edge of the forest, you notice a signpost that is almost completely covered by vines and other plants.
Looking around, you notice that the rock walls of the path are roughly hewn, giving the path a natural look. However, there are several marks in the rock that bear a striking resemblance to a large fist. Suddenly, you wonder if this path was made by nature or by a large hand. A small fresh water stream that runs along the rock wall of the west side of the path. The stream flows out of a small opening in the bottom of the wall, and into another opening a few feet north of the first.
To the northeast, the path widens as it leads deeper into the mountains, and it appears that there may be a clearing in that direction. The path also continues south, into the forest.
Examine the signpost.
Walk northeast, toward the clearing.
Walk south, into the forest.
