Radar Antenna (AN/FPS-35)
The graceful curve of the big AN/FPS-35 radar antenna is apparent in this photograph. It is
not only a marvel of electrical, mechanical and structural engineering, but also a visual
form of considerable aesthetic merit. Note the efficient space frame structure which supports
the reflective surface of the antenna.
