Radar Tower
This abandoned radar tower supported one of the base's several height finder radars.
These radars provided an accurate measure of the height (altitude) of a designated
aircraft. The radar antenna was mounted atop the tower, while the enclosed spaces
beneath it contained its operating equipment.
