"a powdered wig, a pinch
of snuff and some fruity clothes"

february 8th

Last nite just before lockdown I decided to "risk my goodtime" by writing a sudden letter to Peter Boyle's radio show complaining about LOU SMIT using public information he gained during his R case consultancy to do "source" interviews for the Rocky Mtn. News.

I felt a little Jeffersonain, or Madison at the moment...that is to say, I felt like being bitchy and witty.

I did not feel like living in a pine tree bower next to a dumpster, understand me "tammytig". I am manning the desk I envisioned, if only I had "deaner" and "ibnora" for secretaries.

I've recently seen where "Connie" referred to some of the other chatters at www.bouldernews.com as "roaches, silverfish, and all kindsa creepy crawlies".

I should think the time has come that computer equipment comes with a mandatory lie detector which would delete any attempt to post a falsehood. I wish I had a powdered wig and a pinch of snuff and some fruity clothes to sport on the tier. If lying on the internet were a crime I could meet and greet SO MANY familiar names. Why I could wave my hanky and say goodday to "denver" and "sickpup". Who is it that provides my dispensation, to roast in this way? What can the purpose be?

If there was a hideous growth on one buttock, and it spreads to the other buttock, these are known as "kissing lesions". And so it was similar to that situation when I came across a two week old copy of the Longmont Times Call. On one page I read the short saga of a man in Las Vegas who let his apartment fill with gas so that he might escape from YOU hacking nags merely by lighting a cigarette. He did so, don't you know. (Kaboom!) but he lived and must stand trial for arson. And on the facing page I took note of a newsbrief stating that Quebec's 17 prisons are on the brink of crisis due to "rampant drug use and overcrowding". (This from a report issued by the provincial ombudsman).

"Laissez-les manger le gateau dans de belles carlingues dans la foret."

Won't somebody pontificate a bit on the differences between predictions and threats?

P.S. I noted over the wekend that the franc is going for 5.41 to the dollar. I then stared at a picture and "wished". I know YOU hate that.
