If your new to the Rurouni Kenshin, here's some stuff you might need to know so you don't get lost in the series! We have listed the common things that new people to the show might not know. I will update this when ever I find something worth while to put up.
What's a Vegabond?
A vagabond is basically a wanderer. Most samurai's who where abolished became vagabonds because they had no master to serve and no source of employment. Vagabonds meant failure.
What's a Ronin?
A another word for vegabond basically, expext it doesn't mean failure.
What is Kenjutsu?
A type of swordmenship. Kenshin's Kenjutsu is Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu.
What is a Hitokiri Battousai?
Hitokiri Battousai is a master assastion, or killer assastion. It is known no one could defeat him cause he was the best swordsmen and when fighting, moved as fast as light, killing his foe with very little movements.
What is a Sakabatou?
Sakabatou is the sword that Kenshin carries with him. This sword is incapable of killing anyone because it's blade is reversed. In the series, Kenshin uses this sword to atone for killing so many.
A cold-blooded killer can become a lean-mean-washing-machine?
Yes, it can happen!
Can people actually outrun horses?
In Kenshin, yes! But in real life, that's another story...
