This is the latest person to join our family. Devin is a high school student and a junior varsity basketball player. Devin and his mother, Terri, lived in the Vancouver area and Terri worked in Karen's department. Tragically, Terri developed cancer and, prior to her death, signed papers giving Karen and I legal guardianship of her son. We feel quite honored by the magnitude of the trust that has been granted us.
Devin is a very mature young man and a pleasure to have in our home. After being members of the 'empty nest' group for so long, it is a lot of fun to have the energy and fun of the presence of teenagers again.
