Currently I'm an MIS Project Manager. Since Systemax Inc. is currently in a growth mode in almost all areas there's never a shortage of work to be done. Currently it's my function to take the vision of the CIO, and my direct manager and come up with a plan to make those visions a reality. In order to do that I rely on my skills to see that tools are available and utilize them before looking outside. Since any project is a living thing I try to account for growth in all my plans, that means that by the time any project get's into production it may go through many changes. And once it's in place growth must always be a goal, or it would fizzle out. One of the greatest assets are the professionals I've been blessed to work with. That is the real success or failure I've been associated with.

This is Direct PC. I started this group from scratch. When I began to set this sales group up, it was myself and one other person. From that begining in our first year we did 80% of the company's leases, 75% of the company's computer sales, over 6 million dollars in business, and we kept expenses low, and pride at a high!! One of the secrets to our success....

TRAINING...TRAINING...TRAINING. I conducted my own training meetings, planned the course, researched the information, and got everyone involved. People who are unsure of the goals, or how to acheive will doom any project before it get's off the ground. Regular meetings on sales, industry knowledge, technical knowledge, customer service, and where we needed to be kept all of us focused and enabled us to shatter sales records. Under my guidance Direct PC went from two sales people to almost forty, with growth for the first year almost geometrical.
