Garrett
was born on November 10, 1841 in Charlton County, Georgia. He served as a Confederate Soldier and came to Baker County, Florida shortly after the war. There he met and married Heneretta Hogan who had been born in Baker County on September 5, 1855. He died July 29, 1927. |
 Their eldest
child Francis Marion Garrett was born onOctober 13, 1873. He served as pastor of Macedonia Methodist Church This picture was taken in 1959. |

have no picture
of either of Frank Garrett's two wives.
His first wife was Elvie Catherine Mobley. She is said to have had blond hair and blue eyes.  The only way I know the little color photograph above is of Grandpa Frank and not of my father is the fact that my father never had a mustache, at least not in all the years I knew him, and I most certainly would have known him at the time this picture was taken. |
