After the huge battle against Baran, Fly and his friends are recovering in a little hut in the forest. At the headquarter of Ban Hadora just received a report from a malefic eye about the battle. Hadora is convoked by Ban. Ban blames Hadora for his defeats. He lost two competent army leaders, lost the battle on Baruji and now the case of Baran turned wrong. But he leaves Hadora a chance because he didn't forget he eliminated Aban. Hadora goes to Teran to finish Fly.

Poppu seems to have completely recovered. He guards the hut while his friends are resting. Suddenly someone is nearing the hut. Poppu stays vigilant but notices it's Fuam. Poppu is really happy that Fuam is back and doesn't remark the parfum that is spreading out in the air. Soon he feels dizzy. Fuam wants to kiss him. But she pricks in his neck with her nails. Poppu asks Fuam why she did that. Fuam transforms into Saboera. The cardinal of sorceress used once more a craven trick, He injected some poisons in Poppu with his fingers. But his not alone, Hadora came with him. Saboera wants to finish Poppu but at that moment, his hand is cut off by a spell. Matorif came to help the team and arrived in time to save Poppu.

Hadora invokes Begiragon to burn the hut, Matorif and Poppu. But Matorif counters hadora with the same incantation. Hadora is in a bad posture because Matorif is stronger. He asks Saboera for help. Matorif is not able to resist to their power. But Fly arrives. The dragn sign is shining on his fist. he invokes Begiragon and manages to blast Hadora and Saboera away. But Hadora didn't die, nor did Saboera. Hadora asks Saboera to give him new powers, knowing Saboera is secretly searching for the ultimate creature!!

Matorif came with a book for our friends:"the writings of Aban". He new that they would be hurt when they would know about the real nature of Fly. That's why he searched this book in the library of Karu, the natal country of Aban. He lets Leona read a part from it. The whole team feels as if they where directly encouraged by Aban. Leona is profoundly touched by the words of the tutor and decides to turn back to Papunika "to apply the entire measure of here power".

Although Fly's power did increase enormously after the battle against Baran. he has two weak points:

  1. he has no weapon anymore, for he needs a weapon made of oriharukon, and the metal is extremely rare.
  2. when Fly concentrates his power in his fist, he consumes it too fast. If he isn't able to control this, he won't resist to a long fight.
Fortunately they hear about a tournament in Romusu which offers a sword made of oriharukon to the winner:"the victor's sword". Poppu and Fly immediately leave for Romusu with Rura. But they arrive to late for the inscription and can't participate to the tournament. But to their surprise, they meet Fuam who became "butoka" after a training in the mountains of Romusu and participates to the tournament to test her capacities. Fly and Poppu ask here to win the sword for them; At first she refuses because she doesn't want to see a battle between father and son. but Poppu and Fly convince her the sword will only serve a good cause. Fuam has also a new friend: Chiu, a rat that is able to speak. He has a very strange behaviour. But Chiu is soon eliminated from the tournament because his legs are too short for a butoka.

Fuam wins battle after battle and the end of the tournament is nearing. Only the eight best fighters of Romusu are left. The king asks attention for the organizer of the tournament: Zamuza. He's going to explain the rules of the final battles. He asks each of the fighters to take a marble from the edges of the ring. But they notice that the letters on the marbles can't be ordered alphabeticaly and som letters occur twice. Instead they form a sentence:"GAME OVER "!!!!
