Baran takes off the piece of metal covering the left part of his face. A lightning strikes him and Baran starts to transform into a creature that is partly dragon, partly human and partly monster. Our friends try to stop him but his strength and speed are incomparable. When Baran is going to invoke his most powerfull incantation, DORU AURA, Fly appears. He escaped from the dungeon. Baran at the sight of Fly regains control over himself and stops the invocation. But Poppu interposes between Baran and Fly. Having no magic power anymore he attempts a desperate charge on Baran. Baran tries to hit him but Poppu jumps away and manages to grab Baran's head. POPPU IS GOING TO INVOKE MEGANTE.
Before Poppu invokes Megante he looks in the direction of Fly and says to him:"If you don't react now, I will never forgive you...". Then Poppu disappears in the explosion of Megante. At that moment Fly recovers his memory and understands what happened. He begs Poppu pardon for his weakness. But Baran isn't dead. He's flying with Poppu hanging lifeless in his hand. He throws Poppu on the ground and invokes Dragonic Aura with his dragon sign to perfore Poppu. But Fly blocks the attack. Baran tries to erase Fly's memory again. Fly resists with the risk of becoming crazy. Then suddenly a miracle occurs. Fly gives a punch in Baran's face. Baran can't believe what happened. In the whole history of the dragon knights this never occured: THE DRAGON SIGN OF FLY IS SHINING ON HIS RIGHT FIST.
The human heart of Fly not willing to be under control of the power of Baran rejected the dragon sign from Fly's forehead to his fist. Now Fly is able to control the power of the dragon sign for 100%. Moreover even if Fly's power is not as great as that of Baran, he's now able to concentrate his power in his fist what Baran can't do. A new battle between Baran and Fly engages:
Meruru is healing Hyunkel and Krokodin while Leona tries to resurrect Poppu with ZAORARU. Her chances to succeed are very small. Baran invokes DORU AURA on Fly, but Fly escapes with RURA. Baran invokes another DORU AURA. Fly then tries to resist to it because he knows that Baran won't be able to invoke it a third time and moreover if Baran invoked DORU AURA on Teran, the whole country would be burned down. Baran reminds Fly that no one can resist to this incantation. Fly replies he never used it against a dragon knight and Fly is one. Baran gets furious and releases Doru Aura. Fly concentrates all of his Dragonic Aura to survive and succeeds. Baran has no means anymore to harm Fly and his friends. Fly takes his glaive and concentrates the power of the sign in it. He invokes Aban Slash, but just before Baran is hit, the glaive breaks into little pieces. Baran who understands what happened, smiles and kicks Fly away. He returns on the ground and takes his saber he left there.
Nothing in the world can resist to Dragonic Aura except the dragon's saber of Baran. With this weapon Baran takes a serious advantage against Fly. Hyunkel decides to give his malefic sword to Fly. With the sword Fly and Baran are nearly on equal foot. They both invoke their most powerfull techniques: GIGA BRAKE for Baran although it has only the power of Raiden and RAIDEN SLASH for Fly who concentrates the power of the dragon sign in the blade of Hyunkel's sword. They both hesitate to use their techniques because an error could be fatal.
Poppu seems to be at the realm of death. He sees Gome in a "vision" who speeks to him. Gome says that Poppu may not leave Fly alone. But Poppu is not able to do anything for Fly now. Meanwhile Baran has taken advantage on Fly and prepares for the final assault. Gome says that Poppu is a coward and that he didn't do his best. Poppu says he would never leave Fly alone and invokes an incantation. Baran, totally surprised, is struck by the incantation. Fly takes profit of that moment and invokes RAIDEN SLASH. Baran is defeated. But Hyunkel's sword is destroyed by Fly's power. It seems that Poppu used his last resources in this incantation and that there is no chance anymore to resurrect him.
Baran appears out of the surrounding forrest, he regained his human appearance. Fly and the others prepare to continue the fight but Baran doesn't engage the battle. Instead he walks to the body of Poppu thinking:" It's incredible, I tought he was dead. His spirit was stronger than his body and made him invoke a last incantation. How could such a miracle occur... How ironic, from the three powers of the dragon knight, I rejected the power of the human heart and it is the human heart who has beaten me". Baran then makes some blood flow from his hand and drops it in Poppu's mouth. He leaves then and says to Fly:" I have nothing to tell you anymore, do what you think is right. But remember that there can only be one dragon knight in the world. I will come back and fight you again. If you win you will beat Ban for the benefit of the humans, if I win I will kill all humans". Then Baran leaves the place. Suddenly they all notice that Poppu moved and that he's alive again. Fly for the first time felt some tenderness from his father...
