Ron Berku explains he also forged weapons for Fuam, Poppu and Krokodin. He forged a new axe for Krokodin; a bracelet for Fuam and a new cane for Poppu. Eimi wants to give the spear to Hynkel, because she loves Hyunkel and she want to help him. Fuam is perturbed by what Eimi said, takes Poppu's cane and runs away.
Poppu is meditating in the woods. He read the book of the king of Teran. He learned about the five qualities of the soul: Combative spirit, justice, compassion and courage. But he couldn't decipher the fifth one. Leona is justice, Hyunkel is the combative spirit, Fuam the compassion and Fly the courage. But which quality would belong to him? Fuam arrives and gives Poppu his cane. But she asks what she should do know that Eimi declared her love. Poppu gets angry and says that Fuam's relational problems don't interest him. Fuam is shocked and begs Poppu pardon for disturbing him the eve before the decisive battle. Fuam runs away. Poppu knocks his head against a tree, thinking why he handled this way: if Fuam came to tell him her problems, it's because she trusts him. Poppu is so irresolute that he can not even make his talisman shine. Mad, Poppu throws his cane into a stone. The stone explodes to the surprise of Poppu! He reads the letter Ron Berku added to with the weapon: the black rod, it absorbs the magic power and transforms it into energy, moreover it can be lengthened at will. Poppu decides to not worry anymore and do his best when the moment will be there.
Fly is wandering through the fortress, he can't get asleep. Meruru gives Fly something to help him sleep. And it works! Fly has a marvelous dream of his mother.
The next day everybody left the fortress for the Sierra of Karu, except Fly, Leona, Fuam and Poppu. Poppu begs pardon for his attitude with Fuam, and tells her they will do their best to save Hyunkel so that Fuam can reveal her feelings to him. The four are now together, ready to leave. Leona reminds that this time there will be no second chance, they will not have the possibility to withdraw!
In the Sierra of Karu, Hyunkel and Krokodin are chained up to stakes. Myst and his soldiers are present for the execution. The Ban palace is suspended above them. In the caves surrounding the sierra, Flora and her soldiers are ready to intervene. Myst asks Hyunkel if he still wants to join their armies. Hyunkel asks to be freed first. Myst accepts and frees him. He immediately offers the cup with dark combative spirit to Hyunkel. Hyunkel quickly drinks it. In a few seconds his hair changes turns black. Flora and the others can't believe Hyunkel chose the side of the enemy. Myst asks Hyunkel to kill Krokodin and gives him a sword. Hyunkel takes the sword but Myst can see he still hesitates. Krokodin also noticed it and encourages Hyunkel to resist to the malefic forces in him. But suddenly Hyunkel shouts and falls on the ground. Myst thinks Hyunkel couldn't resist to the shock of the two antagonist forces and takes the sword to finish Krokodin himself. But Hyunkel takes Myst's foot and throws him away. Myst can't believe it. Hyunkel resisted to the dark spirit but also used it to develop the light spirit in him. Myst is angry and sends his soldiers but Hyunkel destroys the metalic creatures with his bare hands. The combative spirit that flows from his body acts like dragonic aura of Fly and protects him. Myst gets mad and wants to kill them, but Fly appears from under the ground, together with Poppu, Fuam and Leona.
Ban observed the whole scene from his trone and seems to be unhappy at seeing Fly back!!! The other soldiers of Flora can't wait and join the battle. Leona asks Hyunkel if he still has his talisman. Hyunkel says he would never be seperated from it and shows it. Leona asks Hyunkel to take it in his hand and let his soul speek. Hyunkel's talisman begins to shine. Eimi arrives and gives Hyunkel's spear. Hyunkel asks if she's crazy because one day she takes his spear away and now she brings it to him. She says that whatever she tries, she won't be able to avoid that Hyunkel fights, but if he fights, she prefers that he's well armed. Hyunkel takes the spear and transforms it into his armour. Now Leona asks some attention as she will explain how Minakator works.
Leona begins the invocation of Minakator. A circle lights on the ground. Leona asks the others to stand on the border of the circle to form the corners of a pentagon. Then Leona's talisman begins to shine and a light column towards the Ban palace forms. She asks Fly to do the same. A blue column forms, then Hyunkel and Fuam form a violet and red column respectively. Everyone is holding their hands except Poppu who is the last to create a column. Myst notices what happens but Ron Berku is fighting with him and occupying him too much. But Myst suddenly asks Saboera to appear. Saboera lets the walls of the surrounding moutains explode. Giant bullets where hidden there. Saboera makes them open with Derupa. In it were hundreds of monsters from the malefic world. Saboera explains the monsters of the malefic world are much stronger than those on Earth. Flora asks Poppu to form the circle quickly!!
Poppu shouts, but nothing happens. He falls on his knees and begs pardon to the others. Leona asks him to try again, but Poppu says it won't work. He knew about the quality of the soul and tried everything to make his talisman shine but in vain. Poppu asks Leona to retreat, but Leona remembers him she told it would be to late to retreat. Moreover if he flees now, his talisman will never shine. Poppu gets angry and asks Leona to give the talisman to someone else, if he can't. If they know the solution, then he wants to know it!! Poppu doesn't want that other people die because of him. Hyunkel says that everybody on earth will die anyway if they do nothing. It is impossible that Poppu's talisman doesn't shine. Hyunkel's talisman shone and he was in the armies of Ban before. Fly says it was even Poppu who encouraged him. Fuam says she respects him more than everybody because he has a strong heart. But Poppu says to Fuam that doesn't suffice him!!
Meruru who heared everything, knows Poppu loves Fuam and that he's hurt because he discovered that her feelings towards him are just respect. She wants to help Poppu but doesn't know how. Suddenly she feels a great malefic power. It's Saboera who is swinging a venomed chain that he wants to throw on Poppu. Poppu runs out of the magic circle with his talisman in his hand. Saboera then throws his chain. Poppu notices it but too late. Meruru jumps just before the chain hits Poppu and gets it in her side. Saboera curses the girl but is soon occupied with Nova.
Poppu takes Meruru in his arms and asks her why she saved someone who's not worth to be. Leona tells angry that Meruru loves Poppu. Meruru prefered to tell it herself, but admits that if she followed Poppu everywhere it's because she feeled attracted to him. She was always very self-contained but she admired Poppu, who tough he seemed to be a boaster and a clown, had a really strong heart. Meruru asks Poppu to tell him who he truly loves, she knows it is not her, but she wants to hear him say it so that she can reincarn a person as courageous as Poppu. Poppu hesitates but finally shouts it's Fuam he loves. Fuam is shocked, but suddenly Poppu's talisman begins to shine. Now he understands it's not Fly who has the courage but him! "Look Meruru my talisman shines...". Meruru doesn't answer. "NO DON'T DIE FOR A PERSON WHO'S NOT WORTH TO LIVE!!!!" Poppu stands up and a column of magic power forms. It heals the wound of Meruru. Did Poppu become a sage?!!
Poppu asks Eimi to take care of Meruru. He joins the circle and a green column forms. Then Leona invokes Minakator and they all fly to the palace with Rura. They arrive in the hall where Baran died. Poppu says he will not apologize but repair his errors in the battle and goes away. Hyunkel immediately follows him. Fuam is somewhat vexed to learn all this at that moment and also runs away. Fly and Leona also follow them.
Ban and Kilvan are in the trone room. Kilvan asks if Ban goes well. Ban says that he can't transmit his power to the palace anymore, but that Minakator isn't strong enough to alter his power. Kilvan asks if he should stop the intruders. Ban asks Kilvan to wait. He feels the combative spirit of someone familiar to him.
Hadora waited for this occasion. His guards take Fly's friends away to another place of the palace. Fly is left alone with Hadora... Alone, no Leona and Gome arrive. Strangely enough Alvinas couldn't take Leona away, Gome hindered her. Leona asks Fly to not lose his time in a battle with Hadora. But Fly decides to accept the last duel against Hadora. He noticed that the wounds of Hadora aren't healed, although the hyper malefic creature has the ability to heal it's wounds during the combat. Hadora will probably not live very long anymore.
Fuam has been taken away by Alvinas. Alvinas wants to finish the combat as quickly as possible. She wants to ask Ban to help Hadora. He's the only one who can save her master now. Fuam understands that Alvinas loves Hadora and tries to convince Alvinas to join their side. But Alvinas is stubborn and persists in attacking Fuam. She unfolds all her powers. Fuam decides to use the bracelet she received from Ron Berku. It transforms in an armour similar to that of Hyunkel. Fuam battles Alvinas, but the latter is too fast. When Alvinas wants to deal Fuam the finishing strike, Fuam lies helplessly on the ground. But she abruptly destroys the part of her armour covering her brest. Alvinas moves so quickly that the little metalic fragments hit her at full speed and damage her oriharukon body. Fuam has now the advantage and uses her Tiger Punch to make an end to Alvinas'life. Alvinas asks Fuam to see the end of Hadora's life in her place. Fuam leaves the place knowing that the feelings Alvinas had for Hadora were true love...
