A strange light appears in the sky of Teran. The guards of the king wake him to watch through the windows what's happening. It's Mother Dragon. A dragon knight must have left this world, is it Fly? The king is wondering if the message he sent to Flora was useless...
Fly regains consciousness in a strange cloudy environment,... Is he dead? Mother Dragon is standing before him. She says Fly is indeed dead. Fly asks if a new dragon knight will be born. Mother Dragon says there will be no dragon knights anymore, Ban became stronger than the gods themselves. Maybe it's because of the dragon knights that the evil forces always wanted to rival with them and get stronger. Fly falls hopelessly on his knees. Mother Dragon asks him to forget all those battles and rest for once. But Mother Dragon feels that there are two spirits in Fly's body! Baran appears asking his mother to give Fly a last chance. It is not Fly who died but him. Mother Dragon says that even if Fly is stronger than a normal dragon knight, nobody can beat Ban anymore. But Baran says Fly has capacities no other dragon knight had before. If the gods permitted the birth of a child from a human and a dragon knight, isn't it because they wanted to beat Ban with the power of the soul at the hour where only the force reigns? Mother Dragon accepts and gives Fly a new body. The people of Teran see Mother Dragon disappearing in a light flash and then Fly coming down from the sky. A tear is perling on Fly's cheek while he utters: "Papa...".
Fly was brought to the headquarters of Flora with Rura. Everybody rejoices that Fly is back especially Leona. But Flora has some bad news. Ban decided to execute Krokodin and Hyunkel over two days in the Sierra of Karu. Of course they understand it is a trap to totally eliminate the resistance. But they have no choice.
In the Ban Palace, Krokodin and Hyunkel are kept imprisoned. Suddenly Myst appears. He proposes Hyunkel to join the armies of Ban again by drinking from a cup which will make return his dark combative spirit. Hyunkel remembers the words of Eimi ("Don't face the death with a smile on your lips") and asks Myst some time to think. Myst accepts and gives him time till the day of the execution. Krokodin is angry and can't believe Hyunkel said this. But Hyunkel asks Krokodin to trust him.
Fly wakes up after a bad dream. He steps out of bed asking himself where he could be. He arrives in some corridor and hears his friends talking about him. They all trust Fly's capacities and want him to order the final assault on the Ban Palace. But Fly doesn't understand why they still believe in him. He's not strong enough. The god themselves can't beat Ban. He flees away when he hears that Leona wants to get him. The others soon notice that Fly disappears and begin to search for him. Flora understands why Fly flew away: Although he's still a kid, he knows he has great responsabilities, but also that he'll not be able to fulfil them. If he flees now it means he's not a great hero. Leona firmly replies Fly is a real hero! Flora watches Leona with a smile.
Poppu and Fuam are looking for Fly when suddenly Fuam gives up and leans against a tree. She says they are in a very bad situation and that she doesn't know how they will get out of it. Now that Fly disappeared she's really desperate. Poppu laughs and says that he's happy that he lived long enough to see Fuam like this. Fuam gets angry and collars Poppu, but Poppu takes her hands and puts them gently away. He then says:"Look at me, the guy who ran for the first sign of danger is still standing here, right before you!, Everything will go well!". Fuam is looking admiratively, Poppu proposes to look further in another direction. Then he hears some guards talking:"Maybe he has gone away with Rura, then we'll not be able to find him!". Poppu thinks a little bit and also disappears with Rura. The others noticed that Poppu disappeared too. Leona tries to convince Flora that Poppu will come back as he's a real hero too... Fuam knows Poppu will come back with Fly!
Fly arrived in Teran, he's weeping because of his impotence against Ban. Then Poppu arrives and they have a conversation near the small temple of the dragon in the middle of the lake. Poppu knew that Fly would be there. When Poppu had just learned Rura, who couldn't control it very well and always arrived in places that took a particular place in his mind, like the woods of Rainriba where he met Fuam for the first time. So he thought Fly would do the same: He went to the place where he met his father for the first time.
Fly asks Poppu if he came to moralize him, because he fled his responsabilities. Poppu answers he hasn't the right to moralize him because he is himself a coward. Fly fought the best he could that's all. But Fly replies fighting the best he can is not sufficient to defeat Ban. His strength is not enough. When Fly was on Demurin he dreamt of being a real hero, when the princess and Aban came on the island everybody started calling him hero. That's why he did his best and trained to get stronger. But now he realizes his strength is useless against Ban. If Poppu, Leona and the ohers still trust Fly, he will end just like his father. Poppu says he understands and that he will not force Fly to fight again. But Poppu will face Ban again even if he's sure to lose. At first Poppu was fighting to keep the peace on Earth, fighting for the others just like Fly. But now Poppu also fights for himself... "Yeah, we have to fight for ourselves," says Poppu," What's the mission of a dragon knight? What's a real hero? The only thing I know is that: FLY IS FLY!!!". Poppu leaves the place with Rura. Fly knew the answer from the beginning... It is not due to the others that he lost confidence in himself!
Flora decided to hold a gathering in one of the halls of the fortress to explain her plan. But everybody is anxious because Fly is not back. Then Flora asks the crowd to quiet and listen to what he has to tell them first: FLY!!.
Fly explains what Mother Dragon told him and that he lost his sword. But he adds that if they still trust him, he's their man, if the matter is determination, he's ready! everybody rejoices and Leona, Poppu and Fuam jump on Fly to hug him. Then Flora asks some silence. She will explain here strategy to defeat Ban. The first condition is to gather the five disciples of Aban. Poppu immediately interrupts her telling there are only four disciples: Himself, Fly, Fuam and Hyunkel. Flora laughs and shows her talisman! Aban gave it to her before leaving Karu to battle Hadora. She gave the amulet of Karu to him in exchange. Flora explains that the talismans are made of "Kiseiseki" and polished by incantation. They provide a small protection against attacks. The king of Teran offered a book containing the secret of a powerfull incantation called Minakator. It is of the same type as Mahokator, the speciality of Aban to counter the evil forces, but is much stronger. Moreover if the five disciples invoke it with their talismans, it should have enough power to block the Ban Palace. And with some luck it could diminish Ban's power! But the problem is to find the fifth disciple capable of invoking Minakator. Now Poppu doesn't understand: " But aren't you capable to invoke it?...". But Flora says that even Aban wasn't able to invoke it. But the fifth disciple, she says, is among them. She asks princess Leona to accept to go to the caves of Haja and find Minakator in floor -25 (Aban got Mahokator in floor -15!) in only 30 hours!!! Leona accepts and Fly isn't happy.
Somewhere deep in the forrest of Karu is a great underground labyrinth called the caves of Haja. The gods have hidden there the most powerfull incantations to destroy the evil. The deeper you get into this labyrinth, the complexer it gets and the more dangerous are the enemies, but also the more powerfull are the incantations that can be found.
Flora and Leona changed their clothes and dressed themselves with special clothes able to counter the malefic spirits. Meruru proposes to accompany them as she can be usefull with here thelepathic capacities. Poppu, of course, proposes himself as bodyguard but Fuam kicks him in his face knowing he has something totally different in mind. She will accompany Flora, Leona and Meruru. So Fuam and Meruru go with Leona and Flora to also put these special clothes on. Poppu, who's wandering through the corridors of the fortress suddenly picks up some words from the conversation, of the girls. He looks through the keyhole and enjoys the spectacle of course! Fuam asks Flora why the five disciples have to be together to invoke Minakator. Flora asks Fuam to take the talisman into her hands and think of the people she wants to help. Fuam obeys and suddenly the talisman begins to radiate a red light. Flora explains that to invoke Minakator, the magic power is not enough. The power of their soul is necessary too. Every disciple has a specific quality and it's expressed by a different colour.
Poppu picked up the whole conversation and wants to know which colour his talisman has. Poppu tries to make it shine but fails, he tries again but it still doesn't work. He starts to get nervous, and Fuam hears some noise. Poppu immediately runs away. What's wrong? May Poppu not consider himself yet as a disciple of Aban? He has 30 hours to find the solution of this problem!!
Fly is training with Nova. Nova brought the writings of Aban. Fly is exercing the two types of Aban Slash, Brake and Halo, especially the Halo type. Suddenly he gets an idea for a new technique.
Poppu trains the best he can but doesn't succeed in letting his talisman shine. Desperate, he visits Matorif. But when he's there he can't explain his problem. Matorif says he's really proud that Poppu could reach such a good level though he's only the son of an armourer. If he reached this level it is because he trained much more than the others. Matorif says that if there was a "talisman of Matorif" Poppu would have got it a long time ago. This words trigger something in Poppu. He stands up and thanks Matorif. but Matorif asks him to wait a second. He tells Poppu to trust in himself. Poppu is the disciple Matorif is the most proud of!!
Leona and the others reached floor -25 after a lot of difficulties. Leona is tested on her intentions with Minakator by a secret force while Fuam is trying to keep a horde of monsters at distance. Leona manages to get Minakator and invokes it together with the others to get out of the caves.
Back in the fortress they tell there adventure to the others. But suddenly there is an alert. Someone penetrated the domain of the fortress. Everybody gets outside with their weapons but then, Fly recognizes Ron Berku and Badaku. Ron explains that when Fly was defeated, his sword and Hyunkel's spear came back to Ron's forge. Ron understood that they came to gain new powers and reforged them. The sword of Fly is reborn!!!
