It is not certain that the Andrew P. Fields of Gwinnett County, Georgia who married Arey M. Samples of Forsyth County, Georgia was actually Anderson P. Fields. No other Andrew Fields has been found at this time and Anderson would have been 21 years old and ready to marry.
If this was Anderson it brings up certain questions. 1) What happened to Arey Samples/Fields? 2) Were there any children from the marriage and if so, what happened to those children?
If this was not Anderson Fields we have other questions. 1) Did Anderson wait until he was 40 years old to marry and why would he wait so long? 2) Did he marry someone else for which there is no record and why is there no record?
