June 30, 1740; m. in Newtown June 16, 1762 Mrs. Anna Botsford (1742-1792); received A.B., Yale, 1759; licensed to preach 1760; preached at Marlboro, Ct., and later during the Revolution at Pettipog (now Essex), Ct., d. May 12, 1785; monument in Old Essex Cemetery; issue as follows:

7. Andrew, b. Mar, 24, 1744; bapt. Apr. 25, 1744; metioned in fathers will, 1782.

9. Ebenezer (probably died in infancy, not mentioned in father's will).
10. Sarah, b. Mar 24, bapt. May 2, 1748; d. Oct 20, 1753.
11. Reuben, b. Aug., bapt. Sept 20, 1750; d. July 1973.
12. Lucy, b. Aug. bapt. Aug. 16, 1752; d. Aug. 1753.

DAVID DUNNING4(Benj3, Benj2, Theop1), b. Sept. 6, 1711, bapt. May 11, 1712; m. Sep., 1736, Hannah Botsford; will executed April 22, 1766 and proved Oct. 17, 1783, son David, executor; willed to his sons David, G ideon, Abijah, Richard, Silas and to daughters, Anna, Methitable, Abigail and Hannah; distribution modified because Gideon and Abijah had trades; d. before Oct 1783; issue as follows:

ABEL DUNNING4, (Benj3, Benj2, Theop1), owned the covenant Nov. 6, 1743; m. Abiah......; dau. Sarah, bapt. Nov 6, 1743; son Josiah, bapt. Sep 22, 1745; Abel d. Sep. 2, 1759; his widow, Abiah, made administrix of his estate, Oct. 2, 1759; Abiah was appointed guardian of dau. Abiah, Jan. 1, 1760; Sarah eldest dau. of Abel, chose Jonathan Booth as her guardian, Feb. 29, 1760.

JOHN DUNNING4, (Benj3, Benj2, Theop1), m. Sep. 2, 1747, Anna Kimberly; in 1764, Anna Dunning was appointed administrix of the estate of John Dunning, late of Stratford; between 1747 and 1752, John made several deeds of land in Newtown, in one of which he names Amos as his youngest brother and already dead; will disposes of property to wife, Anna and the following sons:
