Vt; issue as follows:
1. Amos, bapt. Newtown, Ct., Dec. 2, 1750; d. in infancy.
2. Amos, bapt Newtown, Ct., May 24, 1752; d. before 1791,
left a son, George.
3. Betty, bapt. Newtown, Ct., Jan. 6, 1754
4. Josiah, b. Oct 7, bapt. Oct 12, 1755 Newtown, Ct.; moved 1762 to Pownal, Vt.; m. about 1777 Hannah Seelye in Pownal, Vt. where he lived until 1827, later living in Williamson, N.Y., and adjoining town of Sodus, N.Y., where he d. Feb. 27, 1842; he
was a Revolutionary soldier and was in the battles of Bennington, Ticonderoga and Saratoga; issue as follows:

5. Abel, b. 1763, Pownel, Vt.; lived at Perth, near Amsterdam, N.Y.; drew Revolutionary pension and d. Aug. 1841, his large family lived near Amsterdam, N.Y., except his son, Gerard (1787-1847), who had 8 sons and 2 daughters and lived in Penfield (n
ow Webster), N.Y.
6. Abram, b. 1764, Pownal, Vt., m. Tryphena Jewett; lived in Weybridge, Vt., adjoining Middlebury, where he d. Aug. 22, 1842; issue as follows:

8. Martin, said to have lived near John; Martin with his sons, William, Samuel, Amos and Martin, visited Ticonderoga in 1812; his sons went west and Martin returned to Canada.

Note--Lucy (Dunning) Pratt, b. 1800; d. 1895, a granddaughter of Michael, gave the names of his children in the following order: Josiah, Martin, Hulday, Abel, Patty, Abram, John and Polly.
