[295] I recieved an GenForum reply from Leslie Clevenger Beachwood on 22 Nov 1998 in which she said that she has in her tree a Mary Bennett, born 6 May 1781, Guilford, Windham, Vermont d/o Josiah & Sarah (nee ____) Bennett. This Mary married Reuben Stowell in Guilford probaly 1798-99 with their 1st child being that of Melyndia DOB 6 Nov 1799. It's my belief that this Mary is the same as my Polly previously listed due the confirming information being the same. Leslie also mentioned that her info re Mary's birth & death is in "Windham Town Records 1796-1814" Vol. 1. Also the parents names came from the Stowell genealogy chart found in the DAR file on the Howe Family, Brooks Memeorial Library, Brattleboro, VT
Mary died at the age of 91yrs, 5 months, 15 days of typhoid fever.
