GBFA p.28: She was perhaps a widow. Thomas Horton md., June 22, 1721, Keziah Carpenter of Swansea. One Keziah Carpenter was born July 1, 1708 in Rehoboth, the daughter of Zarriah and Martha Carpenter; another Keziah Carpenter was born March 16, 1696/7 in Swansea, the daugther of Benjamin and Renew Carpenter. (WCB: This is the one identified in the "Carpenter Genealogy" who married Thomas Horton)
Did she marry 1st Thomas Horton or Harkin 22-29 Apr 1721, at Swansea, Bristol, Mass.?
There were no children listed in this marriage with John Barney.
According to the "World Family Tree" #1:1291, she was the 2nd wife of this John's brother Joseph (#41, GBFA). [But I don't think so]. WFT #1291 gives her birth date as 1700, so I am using that date here.
According to WFT #14:0511 she was the daughter of Benjamin and Renew (Weeks) Carpenter, who md. (1) 29 Apr 1721 in Swansea, Mass., Thomas Horton. Then md. (2) 21 June 1747 in Rehoboth, John Barney. So she would be #197 in the "Carpenter Genealogy" book (p.74).
