(1) Judaism and Islam form the first of the three divisions. Both Judaism and Islam claim to be monotheistic. Judaism and Islam also claim the patriarch Abraham as their father yet both deny the provision and only means of salvation provided by God i.e., by grace through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. Judaism has accepted much of what is contained in the second division (described below.) Islam has too: it utilizes mind science techniques, chanting, meditation etc. (2) The second division of false belief systems/false religion in the earth includes (but is not limited to) religious science, scientology, "Christian" science, metaphysics. It also includes practice of occult sciences (implemention of any techniques that produce altered states of consciousness whether through: hypnosis, self-hypnosis, guided imagery, breathing or relaxation techniques, meditation, biofeedback, certain types of music, aerobic dance...) irregardless of the intent of the practioner or the intended purpose: whether for substance control, diet therapy, weight reduction, pain management, improved memory, productivity or performance, stress reduction and/or relaxation techniques. The second division includes any form of faith in self: faith or trust in the ability of man to save himself, in the human potential, in the wisdom or the ethical teachings of man (Confucius) -in the "enlightened" self (theosophy) or in the power of the mind: mind over matter, positive thinking, will power or visualization techniques, in the power of the tongue or the power of positive confession: use of mantras, positive affirmations, even so-called "scriptural" incantations. The second division includes those who advocate (teach) trust in and/or practice the psycho-social sciences: psychology, paranormal psychology, humanism, -irregardless of their professed religious affiliation. It includes anyone who trusts in psychic energies, powers or abilities; who participates in the practice of divination, channeling, acting as mediums, spiritists, holistic health, psychic readings, faith healing, fortune telling, palm reading etc. The second division includes all of the various self-improvement and/or so-called self-discipline techniques, any form (type or style) of yoga, EST, TM, any and all self-realization/self-actualization philosophies, teachings or techniques, as well as all of the martial arts. This division includes: participation in or practice of so-called white or black witchcraft, [wicca], sorcery and Satanism etc. This second division groups all who adhere to teachings of Eastern mysticism and related philosophies: such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Shintoism, [or Bahai] in any form. Some common denominators of this second division are: (1) the deification of man and/or nature (2) belief in evolution and (3) belief in various forms of reincarnation, including the wheel of Karma. As an all inclusive nomenclature, the term "New Age" (and "the gods of the New Age") best describes the potpourri of Eastern mysticism, humanism, mind sciences and occult in the second division. The New Age movement -which is not at all confined to the second division but encompasses all three divisions, is rapidly headed toward achieving the homogenization of all faiths into one world (false) religion. In this movement, the gods of ancient Babylon, the gods and goddesses of ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome have been revived. The second division of false religion are belief systems that are humanistic, pantheistic, polytheistic and thoroughly pagan. (3) The third division of false religion is apostate Christianity and it includes all of Protestantism and Catholicism. Christendom is today thoroughly apostate through the infiltration/pollution of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ with Eastern mysticism, through the flagrant adoption of occult practices and through the acceptance of the mind sciences, and through self reliance. |
