Route 43
|
When I joined the staff at Muswell Hill garage, route 43 was still crew operated. In this Feb 1987 view, RML 2579 (JJD 579D) leads RML 2616 up Colney Hatch Lane in Muswell Hill. Route 43 was converted to OPO in June 1987.

Route 134
|
There were 3 day-time routes and 1 nightbus at operating out of Muswell Hill when it closed in July 1990. Route 134, which was converted to OPO shortly before I joined in 1986, is seen here being worked by M1396 (C396 BUV) in Feb 1987 in Colney Hatch Lane.

Route W7
|
The 'senior' rota at Muswell Hill was that containing route W7. A short route, with refreshment facilities at each end, this was considered the 'cream' road. M1355 (C355 BUV), seen here in March 1989, works a journey which started from the bus garage.
