Kitzingen
We lived in Kitzingen over 30 years ago. It was the county seat even then, but it seems to have become a more important city. Parking was difficult because of the volume of tourists, and we had to pay for parking until we found the free lot across the river. The military installations are still there, although quite a lot has changed. The 3d Infantry Division is no longer there, and the headquarters building from 703d Maintenance Battalion, where I ended my active duty, has been replaced by newer buildings.
