Charles Bridge
One of the great sights of Prague is the Charles Bridge,
built by Charles IV to join the communities on opposite sides of the Vltava (Moldau) river.
The medieval statues still grace every pillar of the bridge,
and medieval city gates still defend both ends of the bridge.
It's now just for pedestrians, and there's street music, vendors,
and enjoyment all along the bridge.
