The Grand Canyon (September - 1992)...

Nancy, a good friend on mine from high school, was moving from Charlotte to LA and she did not want to drive across country by herself.  So, I decided to go with her and then fly back.  The trip turned out to be quite an experience.  We went to Cincinnati to see the Reds play, then on to Chicago to see a game in Wrigley.  Then we headed to St. Louis and visited the Archway, which was pretty cool.  Then the trip got exciting (so-to-say).  We were leaving Dodge City, KS and truck pulled out in fun of us, and Nancy's car was totaled.   After spending a day in Dodge City, we finally continued on with our trip.  Our next big stop was the Grand Canyon.  The photos below really don't do this place justice.  It is an amazing place, and I would love to go again.  Actually, I would like to white-water raft through the Canyon next time.  After the Grand Canyon, we went to Las Vegas and then to LA.  It was a fun trip, however, I don't think that I will be heading back to Dodge City again!
