1. All members
are expected to help with the operation of the pull.
Duties include setup, flagmen, sled operator, scale
operator, hook-up, grading track, tear down, and any
other jobs that need to be done. 2. The purpose
of the Board of Directors is to promote the
club and preform executive duties of the club and preside
over any club meetings.The Board of Directors will be
active members of the rules committee.
3. The purpose
of the rules committee is to understand and enforce the
rules as written in the rule book.
4. The purpose
of the Secretary is to record and
report the minutes of the meetings, keep an
accurate record of the points and prepare and send out
the newsletters. The secretary will be an active member
of the rules committee.
5. The purpose
of the Treasurer is to keep an accurate
record of all receipts and expenses and to report these
figures at the club meetings. The Treasurer will be an
active member of the rules committee.
6. The purpose
of the Tech Committee is to coordinate the
safety check on all pulling machines and be responsible
for the tech check in case of a dispute. The tech
committee are active members of the rules committee.
7. The purpose
of the newsletter is to keep all members informed of the
activities of the club.
8. The club
shall hold regular meetings which will be conducted in a
business like manner and meetings are open to the public
as well as members. A drivers meeting will be conducted
at all pulls. A 30 minute time limit will be allowed for
the meeting.
9. When an item
of business needs to be voted on, each yearly dues-paying
member present shall have one vote.
10. Any major
purchase of $500.00 or more MUST be
approved by a majority of the members present at a
regular meeting.
11. Any officer
or rules committee member can be removed from office by a
majority vote of all registered yearly dues-paying
members.
12. You must be
a member to run for office. The board of directors,
secretary, and treasurer will be given complementary
memberships.
