Both Danang and Hoi An are pleasant places to walk. Most of the hotels are concentrated in the downtown area within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and attractions.

If you're heading to the beaches or Marble Mountain, you may want to try a motorbike. 50cc motorbikes are easily rented from your hotel or street vendors who will bring the bike to your hotel at a scheduled time. Rates are typically between US$5-$10 a day. Be sure to check the motorbike when it arrives. Usually they'll find you another one in a matter of minutes if you express your dissatisfaction with a poorly maintained bike.
